Haha. I love the whole idea of this song. The way Doc Hollywood flipped that Seal sample from, Kiss From A Rose, is on pont. Ras Kass, of course, is one of the best emcees in the game, hands down. Spit No Evil needs to come sooner rather than later. But until it drops, check, rate, and download the song at DJ Booth.
Single You Out: K-Hill – The Covenant (Da Instigator, Part II)
Here’s another name I haven’t heard in a while. K-Hill is back with the Elementality camp with a dope new track produced by Madwreck. There’s a lot to like with this joint and it all starts with that crooning sample Madwreck uses. It’s addicting. K-Hill certainly makes his presence known has he attempts to preserve the ‘covenant’. Got a real nice flow going on here…

Single You Out: Serge Severe – Say What You Really Feel
Serge Severe dropping some hotness. Panama Red giving you some latin funk to nod your head to while Serge Severe puts together some meaningful and direct bars. Each verse narrates a different truth. I can’t wait until his next project drops. I have a feeling that it’s going to be something that will stay in rotation for a while.
Single You Out: Luck-One x Dekk – Murderers (ft. Dizz)
I am diggin the music coming out of the Pacific Northwest. Luck-One dishing up some dopeness from his forthcoming collaboration with Dekk entitled, Beautiful Music Pt. 2. That will be dropping next Tuesday. I know we will be staying tuned for that. Murderers is joint that knocks but the vocals from Dizz give it a soulful touch.
Locksmith – Illuminati (Video)
No days off for Locksmith. The man is on to his next project, Labyrinth, dropping in March. Illuminati is a great song in my opinion. The video is really well done. It’s definitely my favorite so far of this young 2012.
“He says we praise Azazel, and annually meet a Bilderberg” Damn.
Mister x Dr. B – Just So You Know (2012)
Artist: Mister x Dr. B
Album: Just So You Know
Source: Artist
Tracklisting:
1. That That
2. Food For Thought
3. Relationship Blues (ft. Elusive)
4. Just So You Know Part 2
5. What I Do
Note:
When I first heard Passalacqua’s first project (Mister, Blaksmith, and Dr. B’s collaborative effort) I was instantly drawn to something unique. The two emcees, with their diverse styles, coupled with Dr. B’s easy going and jazzy production combined for one of the most incredible EPs of 2011.
Single You Out: Rome Cee – Makes Me High (ft. 810)
Rome Cee is an artist that has recently come to my attention, we recently featured his video, Something Beyond. I think the man is impressive behind the mic, so I am going to keep pushing his music in hopes of you getting the picture. This beat is also really well done. We owe that to a producer who goes by the name of illMeasured (update your Twitter pic man, haha).
Rome Cee’s album, The Grey Area, is dropping next week. Ready or not…

Single You Out: Wrecking Crew (Has-Lo x Zilla Rocca x Curly Castro) – Pulp Banga 101
Small Professor put together a banging beat for this joint. I love it. Each emcee proves very worthy to ride this beat. The Wrecking Crew also feature Boogieman Dela and David Little on this track. I think you will all enjoy.
Blacastan – The Booth (Video)
Blacastan is prepping the release for his latest mixtape, The Master Builder Part II. This is a cut off of that mixtape. The man is dope, pure and simple. You can also download the single if you like below:
Planet Asia – Golden State (Video)
I will never bet against a Planet Asia project being anything less than extremely dope. This joint is funky. Planet Asia could probably rap over cow bells and still sound fresh. The man just makes music better with his flow and rhyme prowess. Black Belt Theatre will be available on February 28th. Sleep not…
