Note:

I am finally getting around to writing about this fresh album from the Minneapolis duo, Unknown Prophets.  I just recently started listening to their material.  Big Jess’ solo work was instrumental in leading me through their back catalog.  I am impressed with what they have done in the past, but I think World Premier 2 is their best work to date.

Single You Out: Unknown Prophets – Knockin’ Out Impostors (ft. Planet Asia)

The Unknown Prophets just recently became familiar with me when emcee, Big Jess, dropped a double album for free earlier this year.  I really liked a lot of the material and vowed I would not sleep again, hence I am putting you on to one sick sounding track that features none other than Planet Asia.  This cut is so very ill.  Everything about this track warrants a hip hop fan’s attention.  Be on the look out for World Premiere 2 this Fall. Single You Out: Evil Woman (ft. Sab The Artist)

 

I spotted this over a 2Dopeboyz a few days ago and found this track be so exceptional that I needed to add it.  The sample in the production is really nice.  This is definitely something I can find myself playing throughout the year.  Great replay value.   I am aware of Big Jess and his group Unknown Prophets but I never really listened to them.  This song is a nice intro.  And come to find out, you can download his two last albums for free on his website.  I am listening to them now and I like what I hear.
