Alterbeats – Class Struggle (2013)

I wish I had more time to do a proper write up of this release but as it is time is short and I want to at least let you know that i’s out there. I just finished giving Class Struggle it’s first listen and similar to their previous release, The French Revolution, in that it’s chocked full of bangers. I of course have my favorite tracks: Brass Knuckles by Halfabrick, Real Talk by Skeezo, and Idol by Bekay are tracks that will be on repeat.

Tragic Allies and Tragedy Khadafi connect and form 7 G.E.M.S. They have an album dropping, Golden Era Music Sciences, next Tuesday. It’s slightly reminiscent of Black Market Militia in it’s sound and that’s not a bad thing. The lyricism is on the “street esoteric” nature backed with big beats.

Single You Out: Endemic – NY Untouchables (ft. Tragedy Khadafi, Top Dog & Supreme)

Endemic is a producer out of the UK who has made some noise before with his initial offering of Terminal Illness. He has an ill sound and also a new project coming out soon. Quarantine is a mixtape he has dropping on May 27th and the line up looks pretty fresh to me. I mean look at the line up on this track! Any concerns? Didn’t think so.

But he sounds nice with his and doesn’t lose a step when the baton is passed to him on the track. The good homie, D. Strong shot this track over to me via Twitter. C.A.S.H is composed of D. Strong and Wildelux and has a hard edged, street flavor.
