Skanks is back with a new video single from his Bulletproof Confidence EP, produced by the incomparable Nick Wiz. And this man is ferocious with his talent. There are so many ill lines in this short song. He is dropping some sickness, and he doesn’t care if he is rapping over your heads, he’s still dropping merciless bars on your head. And what Nick Wiz does with this violin sample is release sonic chaos. This is a great song.
Man, this track is EXTREMELY flammable. First and foremost, P-Ro, laced a banger! I love how he uses that vocal sample in conjunction with the piano. It gives the track this dark and ominous vibe.
Secondly, I am going to say this for the hundreth time: Skanks is one of the sharpest lyricists in the game. This is the second verse I have heard from him this week where I thought it was one of the top this year. G Fam Black also delivers a barrage of dope lyricism that proves unhealthy for the competition. The trio of artists make this one count to the ears of the fans.
The project, DRAW, is dropping in a couple of days on the 28th of this month so make sure you check for that.
Skanks unleashes some block brutality with the help of U.G. for his new single, Burn It Down. When you listen to The Rap Martyr get on a tear, it becomes quite apparent that you don’t want to be in the way of this man’s path. He will shame you out of existence with these bars. And this production is nice, not sure who is behind it, but the vocal sample rounds it all together nicely.
Don’t forget to peep the new album, M.O.S.T (Minister of Severe Torture).
Whooooooo! Yep….Skanks is back with some heat again…and you are going to want to stand by the furnace and warm up because he constantly laces dope sixteens with incomparable bravado and talent. He can be your hero, or your worst nightmare depending on where you stand…I would prefer to be the former. Legend Of The Eyepatch is real and it’s coming in full force once his new album, M.O.S.T., drops…you’ve been warned.
Skanks can go toe to toe with ANY emcee in the game currently! His bars are tough as nails but have this intricate quality that sounds anything but basic. I mean, the way he launches and finishes that Covid line is verified proof of lyrical talent. This is also an artist that I feel just keeps getting better and better. He invites another verified wordsmith in RIM to share the limelight and he too knows how to spit some viciousness. The Last Composer does a beautiful job re-working a sample a last heard Marco Polo use many years ago. The cascading piano and the drums with that sample sound like perfection.
Definitely check out out the full length, Out Of Nowhere, now. Every song bangs just as hard as this one. You don’t want to miss out.

If I understand the story correctly, producer Endemic Emerald and emcee Skanks The Rap Martyr of Bankai Fam met each four years ago in NYC and there began a mutual respect for each other’s talents. This album, Rapsploitation, is culmination of that admiration and it is us, the fans that reap the benefit.
