New single up for Shaz Illyork to represent for his forthcoming album, Graff City. The production is low key and stripped down to a few basic components, allowing Illlyork, and guests Tools Beastly and Therman Munsin to spread some heavy hitting sixteens amongst the masses.
Album drops September 12th.
New single from Shaz Illyork’s forthcoming album, Wide Awake. Produced by Ayden, and featuring Blank Face, Shaz releases a fury of street slang over a reworking of one of the Wu-Tang’s most noticeable beats.
I hope it won’t be too long until we get that album!
Man, when is this project dropping? Shaz Illyork be dropping a steady dose of bangers on the hip hop community. RAST and Illyork deliver verbal artillery over a banging production off the hands of Strange Neighbor.
Wide Awake coming soon, but not soon enough for me.
Here are the visuals to Shaz Illyork’s single, Heatstroke, which we showcased last week. Obviously Illyork is back and primed to deliver those hard-edged lyrical bangers that he is known for. New project is on it’s way this summer. I am excited to give it a listen.
First single off of Shaz Ilyork’s forthcoming, Fly, High & Broke Pt. 2. This is a high intensity banger that set an ominous tone for the album as a whole. Illyork sounds like he is ready for big things for the remainder of the year. I also see that the album features a reunion with Spit Gemz. That shit should sound impeccable.
Now that Shaz Illyork is out the bing, he’s back doing what he does best: Making dope music. Qred is the producer responsible for the production which features a twanging guitar. Illyork delivers the roughness with both lyricism and delivery. I know that we will be getting a new project soon, so stay tuned.
Damn. This is the very definition of a ‘banger’. Ayden has these drums banging hard and Famoso and Shaz Illyork do not fail to deliver some of that indelible NYC flavor. I love this material.
This is off of Famoso’s forthcoming project, Tales From Tha Dopeside.
This is a release that has crept up on me because I don’t even know who Silent Someone is. But now I have a better idea after checking out this tight production. The somber vocal sample combined with those drums is a nice twist. I also like how the beat alternates every so often giving it a different sound and an appeal. Lyrically, Shaz Illyork, El Da Sensei, and Oktober Zero pay homage to the art of graffiti and do so properly.
Silent Someone’s new album, I Have Company is due any day so just keep your eyes peeled.
I haven’t see too many people talking about this track as of yet, so lets’s fix that, shall we? I mean, shit, it’s Illyork, and his wordplay never disappoints. The handiwork on the production comes courtesy of Bea2ooth.
This is one of the tightest cuts off of Shaz Illyork’s Deadstock Revival. The Illyorker is joined by Nems, Nutso, Poison Pen, and Danse Daimons for this track. Those emcees, my readers, are some of the hardest rhymers doing it. Be sure to check out the album if you have not already.
