Single You Out: Savage Souls – Pompeii

Savage Souls is a group that doesn’t release a new project every few months (and maybe that’s the right method, who am I to say?) But when they do drop, they bring some serious heat, and that’s no pun intended as I share their track, Pompeii. The track has a great intensity to it in both the production and lyricism. This track drives hard and I would definitely suggest you pick up the new project, After The Blood Spills.

Savage Souls – Set It Off (Produced By Vanderslice) (Video)

I am not going to mince words here: Savage Souls just released a project called Barbarians, that after first listen I can tell will have an amazing replay value! This EP is grimy and gritty, with dope flows and lyricism, and the sample selection, and how they are utilized by the production team, is the best in recent memory through the course of an entire project. Set It Off, produced by Vanderslice, is a really dope track as you can tell, but may just be the tip of the iceberg.

DEFINITELY check this project out. Certified HHD MAX endorsement

Single You Out: Savage Souls – Invasion

This has been sitting in my inbox for a minute.  It just took me a while to give it a listen, but I am glad I gave Savage Souls some time.  It’s a dope cut.  The production from Remo Williams reveals a very raw but intricate style.  The chopped up GZA verse for the chorus is a really nice touch.  The emcees are pretty relentless as well.   They have a nice delivery combined with a good assortment of bars for the listener.  I am anxious to hear this EP they have dropping.  If it’s anything like this cut, we could have a sleeper hit here.
