Godilla & Native Born – Terror Ink (ft. Tone Live, Mister Misk, and DJ TMB) (Video)

Terror Ink is a top choice track from Godilla and Native Born’s new project, Prismas Electricos. Godilla is an artist whose skill sets clearly show that he is a fan of the craft. He is rooted in what i means to be an emcee, which means even after a few year hiatus, he still comes back as sharp as ever with the wordplay. And on this song and the album in it’s entirety, Native Born gives him that raw boom bap flavor to deliver that well-honed gift. Joining him on this posse cut…Tone LivMister Misk…and alll world DJ…DJ TMB.

If you love this vibe…you will love the album!

Single You Out: Godilla & Native Born – Blind Focus

Godilla and Native Born just released their project, Prismas Electricos, and take my word for it…this joint knocks! The beats and rhymers are superlative. This project is retro-fitted with some boom bap from yesteryear but equipped for the ears of today. Godilla has not released anything for a decade…and his sword still sounds just as sharp as it did then, if not sharper. The beats and rhymes go hand in hand as with each track they deliver a polished yet raw sound. Sharing the track Blind Focus, featuring scratches from DJ TMB, and if this doesn’t smack of hip hop…nothing will in 2026.

Godilla & Native Born – Channel Surfing Intro/??What’s This?? (Video)

So one of our ‘day one’ artists on this site many years ago was the emcee Godilla. He brought all the things we love to his music. He had a knack for dope production, the right collaborators, a deep appreciation for hip hop, and immense talent for rhyme writing. When we heard his album Jaguar Paw many moons ago, we were instant fans. That’s still an album over a decade later that we can play again and again.

Now after a many year hiatus he is back to share his gift with us backed with production from Native Born. A new project is on the way and here we get just a taste of what’s to come as we are given a visual showcase through the 80s. And if you were raised in that era you are going to see some familiar and forgotten childhood memories. While taking us down memory lane Godilla gives us that resurgence and invigoration on the mic, reminding us that talent is ageless and skills are only refined.
