Meta P – Animal (ft. Block McCloud and Fresh Jones) (Video)

Meta P gives the listeners something a little different with the track, Animal.  Initially you might think that he is dropping something “animalistic” on the mic or an “animal” in the streets.  But those tracks are a dime a dozen.  He delivers a track who’s content is about protecting animals, in particular pitbulls.  He spits about the topic from a lot of different perspectives.

His album, Evolution, is dropping on March 31st so stay tuned for that.

Poison Man – Armageddon (Video)

First off Poison Man is composed of Meta P, Mayhem, and DJ John Gotem.   Secondly this music and video is too ill.  This is actually the second feature for Mayhem of the day which rarely happens for any artist.  It just happens when great talent and good timing combine.  The beat by Al Gees sounds apocalyptical which suits the sound just fine.   I am excited to hear what the team has in store for an album.  Dope styles abound!

Meta P – Dragonfly (My Other Heartbeat) (Video)

I am not familiar with Meta P and really didn’t know what I was in store for when I checked out his video.  I thought it could be yet another story of love lost or something like that based on the title, but the artist caught me.  This song details both life and loss and is a reminder that art that is birthed in emotion can be incredible.  You can tell that Meta P was bringing it with everything he could.    I felt this…
