K.A.A.N and Locksmith on a track together is like a dream come true. These two really embody lyricism as an art in the truest sense. These guys sound natural together and they are two of a very small number of artists who can switch cadences so effortlessly. And here they collectively express that their gifts are indeed unique and surpass the norm that is set. Love this joint, Ramp Up, through and through. Decap and Artic Beats provide the high powered production.
K.A.A.N. – Decadence (Video)
K.A.A.N. is such a unique talent and I love his skill set. A unique flow, intelligent lyricism, and a diverse artistic mind when it comes to crafting songs. This track has this fun and fresh vibe to it that is sponsored by Smuff Tha Quiz. It harkens back to the sound of 1990s Souls Of Mischief or Pharcyde to me…or if you are on this level MadKap.
At any rate….I believe there is a new project from K.A.A.N. dropping on July 9th. This man is always working. Be on the look out.
K.A.A.N – The Good Book (Video)
Good music is good music whether I noticed a month ago when it dropped, or just today. And I am big on the talent of this man, K.A.A.N. This guy has gone under your radar and has been extra prolific with his unique brand of hip hop in the last two years. He drops meaningful and introspective bars and has a unique ear for production. Exhibit A: The Good Book.
Take a listen, and check out his new album, Vivid Canvas, which is out now, among many others.
K.A.A.N. & Flofilz- Rosinha (Video)
K.A.A.N. Is now of my favorite emcees. His flow is complex and he is quick of tongue yet so very enjoyable to listen to . He just seems so effortless on the mic. He is always in the pocket when it comes to his rhymes. This video single can be found on the collaborative project with him and Flofilz, Rosinha.
