New and ominous single from Hus Kingpin, produced by Mitch Shaffer off of his new project, My Beautiful Dark Wave Fantasy. This will be available everywhere on November 15th, but out now on Hus’ site. It’s dark and ominous hip hop which is right in our lane.
Single You Out: Brando Bambino x Pyramid Tapes – Maxell (ft. Hus Kingpin)
New dope from an unfamiliar artist, Brando Bambino. Teaming up with producer Pyramid Tapes and receiving an accomodating verse from Hus Kingpin, Bambino impresses with this single, Maxell. The first thing you will fall in love with from this track is this organ driven production from Pyramid Tapes, coupled with the catchy chopped up sample used in the backround. That cumulative sound really drives the the uniqueness of the track. Bambino and Hus each deliver strong, yet contrasting lyrical performances.
Definitely worth checking out their forthcoming album, Bandito, which is dropping on August 12th.
Single You Out: DJ Chong Wizard -Wilson Fisk Meets Manny Merengues (ft. Hus Kingpin x Smoovth)
Here’s my favorite joint off of DJ Chong Wizard’s new project The Reality Stone. Wilson Fisk Meets Manny Merengue is a throwback of sorts for me as it features two emcees who came up together and I have been following for a long time, Hus Kingpin and Smoovth. This time they get a beat from Hobgoblin, and it’s a heater.
Single You Out: Supreme Cerebral – Cream Team (ft. Hus Kingpin)
New single from Supreme Cerebral’s forthcoming project, Gaddafi. This time linking up with Hus Kingpin for some bars over production from Slum Lord. Both of these artists really embody the message: “where talent meets hardwork”. They really have put in a great deal of work reflecting their God given talents. It’s only fitting their drop a cut together to close out the year.
Single You Out: Planet Asia – Mansa Musa Medallions (ft. Hus Kingpin x Smooth)
Planet Asia is gearing up for another album, Mansa Musa, which is set to drop in a couple of days and since the man can do no wrong, and you love hip hop, this is an auto-cop. Who has consistently dropped more dopeness than Planet Asia over the years? No one has delivered what he has with this type of consistency.
On the single, Mansa Musa Medallions, Hus Kingpin and Smoovth join Planet Asia over a glorious production from J.O.D. The track has an ill, yet glorious flavor about it.

Single You Out: Nutso, Shabaam Sahdeeq & Hus Kingpin – Murderous (Prod. By SciFi Stu) Cuts By Chinch 33
Scifi Stu initiates auditory mayhem with this chaotic/psychotic production that Nutso, Shabaam Sahdeeq, and Hus Kingpin make straight up chaos over. For a little extra flavor Chinch 33 does what he does best and chops up the record making it all the more enticing for listeners.
I am not totally positive, but I think Scifi Stu might have a project dropping soon. I have copped all his other records so this will be no exception.
Single You Out: Hus Kingpin – Boss Material (feat. Roc Marciano)
Hus Kingpin shares the mic with perhaps the most “in demand” emcee when it comes to guest appearances. Everyone wants a Marciano feature. ..and here the two develop that Boss Material as a result of the collabo. DJ Kryptonite is on the production. The combination on this track reminds me of a Ghostface and Raekwon collabo. C’mon, tell me you don’t hear that connection with this material. This track is just a forerunner for The Cognac Tape which is slated to drop on September 17th.
Single You Out: Hus Kingpin x Rozewood – High Rises (Manu Remix)
I am violating a cardinal rule by throwing this cut up today. I only put five a day on max (usually) but this time I had to be flexible with the rule. This track is too good not to share.
Hus Kingpin and Rozewood are lacing this track some of that atypical illness found these days. I particular feel the flow of Rozewood with the fiery delivery. But the whole vibe of the song made me want to rise up!
This joint can be found on the forthcoming collaborative project from the two entitled, $100Taper.
