Single You Out: Don Streat – Colors Remix (ft. Mayhem of EMS) (prod. by Cool FD)

Don Streat (Baltimore, MD) and Cool FD (Orleans, France) drop the single Colors Remix featuring Mayhem of EMS from their upcoming project named Bare My Soul.   And while I do not have a set release date for the project, knowing the parties involved, I know it’s going to be dope.   Cool FD intermingles funk elements into this hip hop production giving Don Streat and Mayhem something live to spit their verses upon.

FYI…we will be showcasing Cool FD on the first of October so make sure you check back for that.

Single You Out: Virtuoso – Ted Koppel (ft. M-Dot and V.Knuckles)

I hate you if you don’t like this track.  How do you like that for journalism?  I have direct disdain for your terrible taste.  Anyway…this joint is the best track, in my humble opinion, off of Virtuoso’s joint venture with the Snowgoons, CoVirt Ops: Infantry.  If you like those hard hitting snares and tough rhymes, this album is for you.  Also bear witness to M-Dot’s verse…dude shines every time he blesses the MIC.

Here-We-Go-Cover-Art

It’s been 3 years since Revalation (of EMS) brought you a solo project. He’s been doing numerous features for side projects and his crew that has kept him busy. But now he finally brings you his 1st single, Here We Go, featuring veteran Ohio emcee, Dominique Larue, and produced by Pittsburgh’s Shade Cobain. This track is taken from Revalation’s upcoming mixtape Feature Presentation due out this summer….

Single You Out: Jerz – High (ft. Crimson)

Jerz - High ft. Crimson (Artwork)

This probably isn’t what you think it is…I am absolutely loving this beat from Jerz.  It’s so dynamic with the horns and the guitar plucks.   The emcee, Crimson, is the perfect fit for this joint.  He has a little bit of a drawl that fits this beat quite well.  I really enjoy this song and it’s coming off of Jerz’s full length project, State Of Mind, dropping in June.
