There are a lot of good producers out there. There’s no question about that. But for my money, my bets go with The Audible Doctor. The man just concocts brilliance. I love the soulful sample chopped up by DJ Brace and the tempo the good doctor takes with this track. It really meshes well with Chaundon’s flow.
Video treatment for a track off of Chaundon’s album, The Jammington. It’s short but sweet. I expect nothing less than a dope product from the man and he once again delivers. A model of consistency to fans and contemporaries alike.
Chaundon is on the second week of his #GoldenEraMonday series. I have decided that in support of Chaundon I am going to update this post continuously so heads can check all the tracks together in case they missed a week or two. On March 6th, Chaundon will be releasing his latest album, The Jammington. Anyone familiar with Chaundon’s body of work knows that he gives the fans nothing but the best and is very generous with his time and music. I am always down for some new music from Chaundon. It’s been a minute. He brings a few guests for this heater. Two of them, Cymarshall Law and M-Dot have been mentioned a couple of times already on HHD. I think you will like this joint…a little verbal murder going on here.
The remix for YC The Cynic’s, More And More, includes more than just a couple of dope alternate invites. It looks like he solicited some of the Carolina’s best. The original song from Fall FWD is dope but I may yet prefer this “Carolina” version. On a side note, every time I hear a King Mez guest shot, I crave to hear a solo album. Maybe soon?
Visuals from Chaundon’s album, No Excuses, which dropped last Tuesday. I’ve ran through the album once and want to give it a few more listens, but for sure these two joints really knock. Either of these tracks could make it into my Top 50 this year easily.
