Single You Out: Bubba Rock – Pink Lomein

Rock

I just copped Bubba Rock’s new album Rock Season after listening to a couple of samples from the project.  It’s really mellow where the production tends to be more subdued and some points fuses a Motown feel.  This puts more of a spotlight on the lyricism.   It’s an all-around pretty dope project.  I am featuring my favorite track from the project, Pink Lomein,  as the production is a little more on the funky side and prevalent by Artivist. Lyrically, Bubba Rock asserts himself quite well with an unstoppable flow and some life applied knowledge.  You will like this short one…and if you do…show respect and cop the album.

Zagnif Nori & KaBé – Art Deco (ft. The CastOffz) (Video)

A video single from Zagnif Nori and Kabe’s collaborative project Fer Noble.  On the track Art Deco we have what I will call a mellow symphony crafted by Kabe while Zagnif Nori and The CastOffz drop some pretty crafty sixteens.  It all goes hand in hand for a dope feel.

On a side note, I am not sure if I am familiar with The CastOffz, but I am going to take this opportunity to check for them because dope crews are hard to come by these days.

Zion I – Calm Down (Video)

The new Zion I project, Ritual Mystik, is probably the duo’s best work in the last few years in my opinion.    I really enjoyed every track from the project and here they deliver the video single for their cut, Calm Down.   This video is also exceptional from a coordination standpoint…both audibly and visually keeping the president and the establishment’s policies in check, in the neighborhood.

Single You Out: Supreme Cerebral – Cream Team (ft. Hus Kingpin)

creamTeam

New single from Supreme Cerebral’s forthcoming project, Gaddafi.   This time linking up with Hus Kingpin for some bars over production from Slum Lord.   Both of these artists really embody the message: “where talent meets hardwork”.   They really have put in a great deal of work reflecting their God given talents.  It’s only fitting their drop a cut together to close out the year.

Jaysaun – Bos x Ct x Philly (ft. Blacastan & Reef The Lost Cauze) (Video)

A dope joint from Jaysaun’s new album, Kill Ya Boss, featuring stalwart emcees Blacastan and Reef The Lost Cauze.   And it doesn’t take a listener long to realize that this song is going to knock.   But this is just the tip of the iceberg, my friends because Jaysaun’s album is amazing in the sense that it is relentless in its boom-bap prowess but also, in the emotion, he put into this work.  It’s quite powerful.

I say it a lot…but you Need to pick this album up…you can’t let 2018 pass without copping.
