Single You Out: M-DOT – The Atonement (Prod. by Pete Rock)

I can’t just drop a few posts and ignore the combination of talent represented in M-Dot on the rhymes and the legendary Pete Rock on the production!   This song represents insane levels of skill on several tiers.    It’s intense and unrelenting and an unveiling of what is sure to be one of the best projects to drop this year in egO anD The eneMy 2: A Dissolute Paradise.     This is to serve notice, that the project is coming to fruition and you should keep your ears peeled!

Single You Out: Ca$ablanca x TITO – Assalamualaikum

New music from the hard working Ca$ablanca!  TITO hits you the piano early on and then the drums come on…but it’s the piano work that give it that ‘feel’ or special vibe.  We all know that Ca$a relishes every beat and puts this one to work perfectly, but TITO, who I am not all that familiar with, really illustrates a great mic presence as well.   This is just great music!   Enjoy!

M-Dot – Days Are All The Same (Video)

I am of course late on sharing this but this is my favorite track from M-Dot’s album from 2018, Ego And The Enemy.  I assuredly have featured this track previously but now we have the video single released and it narrates (visually) M-Dot’s tale perfectly.  I love that they went with the 60s(?) cartoon format to illustrate what sheep people have become and slaves to an invisible standard.

As I have said before…M-Dot encapsulates the trending mindstate without flaw while Hi-Tek creates a most compelling audible journey.   Simply an amazing song (and now video)!

Chuck N Lock – Phobias (2019)

Making my triumphant return to blogging after a terrible hiatus that involved the death of my father, I bring you a legitimate headcracker with Chuck N Lock’s EP, Phobias, produced by Hobgoblin.   This is is a legitimate vicious piece of work.

I was originally only going to post a single but then realized that the song Geraniums, could not be singled out by itself.    So I am going to showcase the whole bloody project.  You’ve got Chuck N Lock’s clever and witty lyricism coupled with the notorious head not effect of producer Hobgoblin.

This is dope.  Tell me I am wrong.
