This track has been out for a while, but I simply have to post it. Better late than never and this head simply has to be recognized. Spit Gemz and Eff Yoo combine talents to form Rikers Island Boxing School. And these guys have a vicious spit game that they are bringing to the future on this track, Rifle Experts. They are surveying the post-apocalyptic landscape of Queens in 2099. And they visit courtesy of the production of Project Porter. This is a dope track that signals a dope project is on it’s way.
Single You Out: Def3 x Late Night Radio – Just Wait
I’ve actually been waiting for Def3 to make a new album, and it looks like I am going to get my wish, on June 4th, when Weddings and Funerals drops. But it gets better as he has producer Late Night Radio back behind the boards. Their album, Small World, is something that I try and listen to as much as possible. There are so many great cuts off of that project. It is my hope that we have great continuity from that project to this one. The pairing make original, funky, fun, and at times introspective music. And I think we are off to a great start here. This one has some very unique musical texture. So if you enjoy hip hop that steps outside the usual and customary…this is for you!
Vinnie Paz – Papi Wardrobe (Video)
The prolific and timeless JMT frontman, Vinnie Paz, has yet another project on the way, seemingly adding to his mounting musical legacy. Burn Everything That Bears Your Name is the title of the album, and that is dropping on April 23rd. For this particular track, Paz, joins forces with producer extraordinaire, Stu Bangas. And they cook up a high energy joint that is sure to appease fans. Enjoy and mark the date!

M-Dot gets a little crazy over this C-Lance beat, and too me it sounds like he’s having a lot of fun going maniacal. He sounds as sharp as ever flipping on the off-kilter tip. He enjoys playing with razor sharp object…bars my friends….bars.

Jake Haw and INF released a project called, Mountain Of Black Glass, and this is some illness you can find from the project, and overall dope! Certified master wordsmith, Taboo joins the track along with Dystrakted. I really love the production on this whole joint. Lots of acoustic guitar mixed with neck snapping drums. If that’s your thing (and why wouldn’t it be) you should check it out.

Chino XL & Body Bag Ben – Vanilla Sky (Official Video)
Good gracious! This track right here is simply the platinum standard for 2021. This production from Body Bag Ben is immaculate. And Chino XL continues to add to the legend he has garnered throughout the decades. The lines involving “golem” and “paying back student loans”…had me run this song back several times on their own merit. This track is something special.
