New single from Rock’s upcoming album, Ether Rocks. Shark Tank features Boot Camp bars a plenty from Rock, Steel, and Ruste Juxx over some violin inspired boom bap from producer Ron Browz who produces the enitre forthcoming project. This joint is as tough as you would expect when hearing this line up, and I anticpate more of the same from the album. It’s an auto-cop.
XP The Marxman – Paint Pictures (Video)
XP The Marxman is on quite the run dropping projects and appearances on the regular and with strength at that. Because why would you do it any other way. From a blogger standpoint, you can just feel the wave getting bigger and bigger for him.
With that said, I love this joint from Pacific Standard Time Remix album which snuck past me and I need to cop as soon as possible. I love this J.Rocc rendition of production. The scratches on the chorus are super dope, as they interact perfectly with the bars our emcee is dropping.
Maze Overlay – Death Valley (Video)
If you are not up on this new project from Maze Overlay, AZTECAZ, you need to stop what you are doing right now and go cop. I feel pretty strongly that everyone needs to give this a listen.
I first caught wind of the project when I head FARMABEATS was lacing the production. And not only did he lace it…it’s his best production to date in my mind. All of his projects are great quality but this is that premium special blend that you only break out once a decade. Vintage.
And Maze Overlay impresses thoroughly with his gritty, yet clever wordplay on top of those ominous beats. And in this case Death Valley is just the tip of the ice berg.
Eddie Kaine x K Sluggah – Warm It Up (Video)
Eddie Kaine and K Sluggah link up for a new project that just dropped, Chosen. And it the video single, Warm It Up, is any indication, the project it going to knock. These are two aritst that are very highly respected individually, and their union of talents is a blessing for listeners.
Mic Bles x Level 13 – Chronicles Of Death (Video)
Flames track from the collaborative efforts of Mic Bles and Level 13, with cuts from DJ Mysterons.
Chronicles Of Death is the certified boom bap flavor. These drums snap and Mic Bles delivers the goods bar by bar. And those scratches make this track close to perfection. Lots of skill showcased on this track including the GI Joe video flip by MIDIchlorian
Saints With No Halos drops on October 10th, so be on the lookout.
Single You Out: King Ralph – Vietnam

I don’t think enough people talk about King Ralph in the music biz. Everything I hear from him as an artist is really dope. So here I am trying to shed light.
I have elected to share the track, Vietnam, from his recent album, Fuck Babylon. It’s short but he takes this bass line and just runs it for a little over a minute. His flow and wordplay are spot on and I hope people start to see this skill level.
Check out his most recent and past project if you are an unbeliever.
Eff Yoo & Rob Viktum – Delancey Leathers (ft. RIM) (Video)
Delancey Leathers dropping off of Eff Yoo and Rob Viktum’s project, Charismatic Disrespect which arrives in a couple of days on September 9th. And this joint drops something heavy. Thick bassline, a snare that snaps, and an assortment of texture in sound. Then you have Eff Yoo and RIM showcasing some really ill flows as tehy dedicate this track to all those in the streets perfecting their hustle.
Single You Out: Lunar Heights – Immortals (ft. Casual)

This is definitely a track that should garner more attention across the board. Lunar Heights teams up with Hiero legend, Casual, over some sonically special production from Reverb.
Casual is one of those emcees who just sounds timeless. He sounds just as good today as 1994. And he demonstrates barbarian bars on this joint. But Lunar Heights members, Spear Of The Nation and Jern Eye each drop some truly spectacular verses. Very impressive on every level.
A joint that every hip hop head can enjoy.
Mondo Slade – Tone Loc (ft. Pro Dillinger) (Video)
Here’s a fresh video single from Mondo Slade’s new album, Shoots & Ladders. The beat by King Rem is uptempo and infectious. It builds that good vibe and adrenaline for verses from Slade and Pro Dillinger. Both emcees deliver on their end of the bargain with some solid sixteens. Really dope collaboration that turned out to make this song the sure shot.
Make sure you go check the album if you are feeling this cut.
Single You Out: Old Man 80zz – Gunsmithz (ft. Phat Kat x Asun Eastwood x Recognize Ali)
Damn this is one of the toughest joints of 2022 with Old Man 80zz on the boards lacing lava rocks. The drums and vocal sample set a perfect stage. And the emcees, Phat Kat, Asun Eastwood, and Recognize Ali all show up in a big way with their bar work. Asun however really stands out to me. His flow with this beat has such a vicious sound. Tell me I am wrong. This record gets maximum rotation.
