Alight. I am a believer. The Heddshotts crew is nice. I first found this video and this song. The beat by Junior Makhno is live and each member of the crew really delivers on his verse. After listening to it I copped their album. It’s just as good, if not better than this track represents. You should check it out…I am pretty mad at myself for sleeping for the last five months.

Note:
Sometimes you just happen to wander into a gem. And that’s really how I came across Rome Cee…by musically wandering. I first caught wind of him on UllNevaNo’s project, The Color Brown Part II. Then after that, I would see these videos pop up, after that I knew this artist was making the music that I like. He is an intelligent lyricist, with a good turn of phrase, and he surrounded himself with some other very talented individuals.
Burke The Jurke – Danger Zone (Video)
I love the concept video. This is one of the dope cuts that you can find off of Burke the Jurke’s, Jurke Du Soleil album. It’s a solid album that I recommend you look into.
Single You Out: Juan Deuce (ft. Romen Rok) (prod. by Falside)
I can’t lay enough praise down for what Falside does behind the boards. He is a top five producer commercial or independent, period. I love the way he chops up this sample while Romen Rock and Juan Deuce drop their bars. Juan Deuce and Romen Rok have contrasting styles which makes this joint all the better. That divergency plays well with the production. this song is dropping on the yet to be released, No Sweat Mixtape, from Juan Deuce.
Single You Out: Busy Bars – Come Off Of That (ft. M-Dot)
New music featuring 2011 Artists of The Year, M-Dot. The lead artist is Busy Bars who also is a very apt lyricist. The production is on some crazy orchestration, meant to be chaotic. It all just goes together.

Illmaculate: Under Their Radar, Over Their Heads (Video)
I haven’t really heard too much good music in the last few days, with the exception of this new one from Illmaculate. This joint goes for sure! I love the drum pattern on the production along with the chorus. This is probably the best ‘song’ I have heard Illmac do. He is a great lyricist but this song really blends his talents with the production appropriately. G_Force on the beat and J-Rome assists on vocals. Illmac’s album Skrill Talk, is dropping on April 17th.

Interview: Awkword (2012)
Awkword has a lot on his mind these days. He has been very busy pushing his music from the forthcoming album, World View. He has released single after single building the buzz for his 100% for charity project, letting us know, it’s not all about the Benjamins.
Awkword is a social advocate and a musician. With each release he puts out it becomes more and more apparent that his name deserves to be recognized for the talent he possesses. But more than that, Awkword is a son, a son who lost his mother earlier this year. He talks below about the special relationship he shared with his mother and his music. Enjoy…
Single You Out: Ruste Juxx x Kyo Itachi – Hardest From The Underground
New Ruste Juxx material from his collaborative album with French producer Kyo Itachi. I like what I hear so far. Kyo Itachi’s production is different than what you usually hear Ruste Juxx spit on. The laid back guitar sample gives this a more laid back vibe. The new album, Hard Bodie Hip Hop, is out now in France and hope to see it available in the US soon.

Single You Out: Sha Stimuli – All Falls Down (ft. Grafh and Mr. Probz)
Ok. So this really isn’t a single but I really want to put people onto the Sha Stimuli EP, The Chills. This is the best track on the project though the whole thing is really good. The production is done by Focus and sets a really dope backdrop for the emcees to drop their bars. People need to recognize Focus as the top notch producer he is. Each emcee drops a really nice verse but Stimuli’s is the show stopper. Definitely cop the project for $4.99.
