The Harvest is the first song off of Rome Cee and Greenspan’s collaborative project, entitled CEE-SPAN which should drop next month. This is my first listen to Greenspan and I am already a huge fan of Rome Cee’s after listening to his previous albums. Both of them hold down the mic duties quite nicely while August Flight Gordon locks down the production with a very soulful vibe. I also like that the two voices contrast against each other.
Intuition & Equalibrium – Finish With A Kill (Video)
I should have posted this earlier as Intuition is exceptionally dope in my book, plus this song features a lot of cardio, so as I watch, I too feel like I am getting the work out minus the bloody ending. A dope all around song….
Skeezo – Lost Love (Video)
Skeezo lets loose the visuals for Da Beatminerz produced joint, Lost Love, off of his Face Value EP. And no lie, the EP is legit. It’s all about those raw rhymes and big beats. Please make sure you cop the project and check out our interview with Skeezo from a few weeks past.
Single You Out: Jerz – High (ft. Crimson)
This probably isn’t what you think it is…I am absolutely loving this beat from Jerz. It’s so dynamic with the horns and the guitar plucks. The emcee, Crimson, is the perfect fit for this joint. He has a little bit of a drawl that fits this beat quite well. I really enjoy this song and it’s coming off of Jerz’s full length project, State Of Mind, dropping in June.

CapCizza – Mighty Hammer (ft. Godilla) (Video)
I am not sure if I have ever heard of CapCizza before. Yeah, I am pretty sure this is my first sampling. But I am damn sure I have heard from Godilla before. The Fresh Peddler fixes up the boom-bap and the two emcees lay it to rest. All in all, it’s the hard-hittin’ material you have come to expect here on HHD.
A couple of other points:
1) This track is coming off of CapCizza’s The Magic Hour Bonus Tracks.
2) If you didn’t catch the initial offering, you can DL The Magic Hour now.
Single You Out: Scheme – Uneven Score
New music from Scheme and The Analyst from their forthcoming project. Scheme has been in the game a while dropping lots of dope, and perhaps underappreciated, gems. The Analyst laces a very smooth, yet boom-bap production. It’s simply music to glide to as Scheme puts the world on his back lyrically.
I think you will enjoy this one.
Single You Out: Nems – (Unwanted) Freedom
Nems breaking a little new ground with this new track. He’s getting a little more personal on this track, letting you see a different side to the FYL movement. The beat is minimalistic but really works with the sample choice. Here’s the information regarding the track as stated on the YouTube page:
Nems leaks the first track off his “Fuck Your Love” EP titled ” [Unwanted] Freedom”. The EP drops in mid May and will be Nems first solo project in nearly two years. Executive produced by Busy of BKLYN STICKUP, “Fuck Your Love” will surely be Nems most personal work to date.
Single You Out: Audimatic – The Wolves
May this track serve as a reminder as to how dope this duo is. I love how maticulous weaves the wolf’s howl throughout the production. It certainly gives you that dark vibe that something wicked is coming in the darkness. The Audible Doctor is also really able to showcase his rhyming talents as well, indicating he is just as good as an emcee as he is a producer.

Nutso – No Sleep (Video)
Nutso is cranking out those bangers! You know this! This time he teams up with yet another dope European producer. This time it’s Swedish producer, Terminal Five. This song is full of that necessary dopeness. I hope we get an album soon from Nutso and he can bury these nonbelievers.
Artist Spotlight: PremRock
I am pretty excited…no, let me rephrase, I am very excited to bring you some thoughts from one of the most creative emcees in the game, PremRock.
I have been listening to him for a couple of years now and in an ideal world, I would have connected with him at SXSW a couple of weeks ago. But that was not in the cards. Still, I wanted to pick his brain about, his art, his friends, and his perspective. What I got in reply was well thought out introspection.
I encourage you to read the interview, check the video freestyle (it’s amazing) and make sure you cop all of his music. If you love creativity in your hip hop, you are going to be an instant fan of PremRock.
