This is a dope track from Hawaii based emcee, Thesis43. The beat is dark but the drums really hit hard when they need to making the track truly knock. Thesis43 rides the rhythm appropriately and shows no pity for those with excuses.
Masstapeace is back after a three year hiatus with their lead single from their forthcoming project dropping in 2015. This song, produced by C-Lance, is certain fire. I have a Masstapeace album and I don’t remember the crew ripping like this for sure. It certainly makes me curious what this new album is going to sound like. Stay tuned.
CF is artist whose intensity is hard to duplicate on the mic. The man spits with such fervor that as a listener you can feel the emotion that he puts into his craft. The man is an ill emcee but also incredibly articulate and educated which makes him dangerous and elite emcee. To add a little propane to those flames, you also have Swave Sevah and Akir dropping some verses.

The Fix from Macabeats and Cool FD’s project, Pardon My French, gets the remix treatment. Macabeats’ flow is on clear display for all to hear on this track while Cool FD reworks the headnodder. The first run through was a win and I think this second time is a flawless victory. Peep the project if you have not already done so.
Jus Daze wins again by delivering heart and soul in a musical package. Daze gives this musical dedication to a friend who has overcome an addiction as he continues to drop purposeful songs to the masses that endear listeners to his art.

Divine just dropped his project, Ghetto Rhymin’, this past Tuesday and this is the lead video for the project. Divine has a throwback style to his sound. It’s reminiscent of that mid-90s flavor ala Royal Flush and Mic Geronimo. He just has that raw NYC flavor to him. I particularly like the beat on It’z War…an ole violin type banger.
I love everything about this Operation Mockingbird track. It’s some molten lava type of heat. The production from Cheatcode is anything but stagnant and DJ Neb puts a little more polish on the joint It’s vibrant from the onset allowing the emcees to unfurl their verbals. But who is Operation Mockingbird? Who are these emcees? Someone let me know the scoop!
DJ Connect from the Elite Fleet, a production crew out of Sweden, released an EP last week entitled, Well Connected, on the Creative Juices label. Up In Sweden is just one of several bangers off of the EP, featuring a portion of the AOTP in Block McCloud and Reef The Lost Cauze. The production is simply fire with expert delivery of samples chopped up into the chorus.
