It’s been a few minutes since I featured music from Ruslan, so the time is now right to display some dope new visuals for an equally dope song. This is a cut from the forthcoming album, Americana.
Single You Out: Blak Flag – Revolvers b/w The Rainmaker (ft. Marvalyss)
Blak Flag and his team are all over the HHD radar. This emcee is one of the dopest around with hard lyricism backed by Sherm LaRock’s neck-snapping drums that plays like the Pied Piper with that flute loop. Just leading heads down that boom bap path. I have heard near 20 cuts that involve Flag and they were all dope. I hope you are all paying attention.
On this track we got Flag teaming up with Marvalyss to flip another banger from Larock. Are you getting the picture yet? The two emcees really sound good together. Their voices and their lyrical skill are very much on par with each other so the song is consistent.

Single You Out: Illmaculate – Oscar Nominee b/w Excuses
Oscar Nominee serves as the second and most recent single from Illmaculate’s upcoming EP, Still Standing. A dope song that features production from long time collaborator, Chase Moore.
“I would probably have an Oscar for acting like gave a fuck… I am sorry but no apologies…”
Excuses was of course the first single from the same EP. The beat from Moore on this joint is a creeper. It just embeds itself in your head and stalks the mind. Illmaculate, meanwhile, writes and executes a couple of dope verses. Guest, Bobby Bucher, tackles a third verse that make me reminiscent of Devin The Dude in cadence and flow.

While we all eagerly anticipate M-Dot’s album, Ego and The Enemy, he has released a teaser project once again showing the assortment and diversity of talent. This is old hat for us here at Hip Hop Dependency, but I am sure there are more than just a few of you who will appreciate these dope eight tracks.
You can see the company he keeps on some of these tracks and let me assure you, he was never out shined on any of these cuts. I hope you all can appreciate that talent as much as we do.

He rides the piano infused boom bap from Doom to the fullest extent, setting us up for his next project, Tmeless: of the collection. That’s set to drop early next year.

Oh you want some bars? Blank Face has got some bars for you. SoulNewYork provides some production that lies stealthy in the background while the emcee puts in some serious work on the mic. It’s definitely that grimy, yet intelligent east coast boom bap that you need for those ear drums.
Always good to hear some legitimate fresh talent!
Single You Out: Sareem Poems & Ozay Moore – Soap Opera (feat. DJ PA) [Soulseize Remix]
A new remix out for the cut Soap Opera from Sareem Poems and Ozay Moore. the production comes courtesy of Soulseize. The artists are putting a poetic twist on a deteriorating social situation. As certain members of the police appear ever more at odds with the Black Community, it’s songs like this that give us that lend perspective to time and place.

Abyss brings us an uptempo single that features bars from family favorite M-Dot, production from C-Lance, and vocal stylings from Aisling Peartree. The song is fire and bound to bring life to your evening. Get up and get something!
Single You Out: Defiant III – Crossfire
The Defiant III are up to no good with the release of the single, Crossfire. IDE, Alucard, and Jise each drop some gems over a production from Warryn Syde. The whole track strikes me something ferocious with a captivating dark piano riff operating snapping snares.
