Single You Out: Gotham Green – No Hard Feelings

Gotham Green has been featured here numerous times, but it has been a minute.  As a matter of fact, it has been two years since he has dropped some new music.  But he truly hasn’t lost a step which is noted on this new Don Korto produced track, No Hard Feelings. The track’s tone is casual, yet definitive.  Green is back but he’s not here to join the parade, he’s here to continue to carve his own path.

Don’t sleep!

Single You Out: Ghost Of the Machine – Last Man On Earth (ft. Red Pill) (produced by James Green)

It is my duty and obligation to share dope music with you and thusly I present you with the single, Last Man On Earth, from Ghost Of the Machine, and featuring Red Pill.  The track is personal and introspective, with a touch of despair.  The track suggests that no matter the belongings, situation, and company that the artist will still feel lonely.  I’ve been there and can definitely respect.

The track is from the album, It’s Lonely Out Here: The Story of J.F.M.  If you are feeling this track then this is an instant cop.  The album is solid and chocked full of true content.

Single You Out: Cayoz – Out The Box (ft. Vandalyzm, Add – 2 , and Dj Grazzhoppa) (prod. By Cool FD)

This new single from Cayoz will inevitably have you nodding your head and snapping those fingers.   Out The Box is a complete hip hop party for you ears.  Cool FD puts together some of his best work for this track with the jazzy flavor, horns, and pianos.  It’s layer after layer of musical dopeness.   Then you’ve got Grazzhoppa chopping up an old school Slick Rick sample amongst others making it even more memorable.   Cayoz, Vandalyzm, and Add-2 each drop a dope 16 to make this song stick with you.

Single You Out: UG – The Mystic

UG’s forthcoming album, Portals, is my White Whale.  I have been waiting for it forever and for the longest time, I thought it was never going to drop.  I thought it was just going to be shelved.  But now we have proof of life with the IDE produced single, The Mystic.  On this track you get to hear UG flip a one of a kind style over a production that actually caters to the word…”mystic”.

Even greater news is that we have a release date for the new album.  It’s dropping on October 21st.   Make sure  you notate that on your calendar.

M-Dot – Road Trip (Video)

Our friend M-Dot is back at it again narrating tales from his travels over  a Soulslicers’ production.  My reaction to the track?  First, it’s really great to hear some Soulslicers’ beats.  I have really missed their work over the past couple of years.  And it really is a match made in heaven when M-Dot starts flexing his verbal muscles over their heat.

I can’t wait for M=Dot’s new album to drop along with affiliate Mayhem’s joint.  Stay tuned for more EMS goodness!

Token – Happiness (Video)

Quite honestly this is one of the deepest songs I have come across in a very long time and it is executed to absolute perfection.  There is an incredible amount of depth in Token’s story telling and lyricism.  It’s one of the few times that I have had to take a deep breath after listening to a song or watching a video.  Token narrates three stories, two of which are classmates, and one is his own.

Apparently he has a project called Eraser Shavings just around the corner.
