Zilla Rocca and Small Professor are back at it as the group Career Crooks. Rocca promised some new music from the camp this year and here we are. I am much obliged to share. Props for the Mike Miller line.
The album drops May 19th and you should be prepared for that. The camp always keeps it interesting and fresh.
This is another single from Endemic Emerald and Skanks’ forthcoming album, Rapsploitation. I love the static and pop in the production with that lingering piano loop from Endemic. Skanks adds the perfect verbal punch needed to the track. And of course dopeness loves company, so Rim and Shatike, also show capable of serving up some certified illness.
The album is due out on May 30th.
Donnie Darko lets you feel his animosity in sixteen bars over some classic darkness produced by DJ Bless. This is the duo at it’s very best. And when Apollo Valdez links up with the two, they become Pull The Fuckin Trigger.

Merkules dropped his new album today, Trust Your Gut, and Conor Mcgregor is a cut off of that very album. Merkules drops some rapid fire intensity in some swift bars over an equally amped Stuey Kubrick production. I am definitely going to check out the album.
Jamo Gang (El Gant x Ras Kass) rip over a J57 banger flexing their lyrical stylings. This could easily be an anthem for all of us who endeavor to a higher level of hip hop. El Gant and Ras Kass are a potent duo. Ras Kass is a legend and one of the all time greatest wordsmiths to do it, and while El Gant might not have the same notoriety, he is not to be bested. He spits bars with an equal measure of tenacity and venom.
Look out for the album this summer! It’s going to be one to remember!
M-Dot drops a video for one of my favorite tracks off of egO anD The eneMy. Reliant is a very vivid look into the eyes and mentality of an alcoholic. Yet another example of the dexterity M-Dot possesses as he narrates tales of addiction. Whatson on the production.
I have yet to see anyone blog about this release, but how could you miss out on some Psycho Les production with Theo3 spitting bars?
I am not sure if you guys remember, but in 2014 Theo3, had an impeccable EP called Enticement. There was production from The Audible Doctor, SCAM, and none other than Psycho Les on that joint.
The Double Life EP builds off of that arrangement. It’s not big on length, however, it is strong in potency. Fresh rhymes and dope production are highly concentrated in these three tracks and worth the meager $3 it will take to purchase them.

Here’s some illness coming out of the D, with ZotheJerk dropping some lyrical roughness over an ILL beat from Winnipeg’s Frost Gamble. This song has dope written all over it. I love the Big L sample.

This is Junior Makhno’s first single from his forthcoming album, Party Discipline. And what a magnificent single it is! He enlists Planet Asia to spit inside of his production vortex.
Asia has been one of the most consistent emcees over the course of the last decade plus and he never disappoints, while Makhno is no stranger from boom-bap production and hard hitting sounds.
