Here’s the new, new from Copenhagen’s finest hip hop artist, Sicknature. The beat is banging and the rhymes are raw. This track will be found on the new project, Copenhagen Kaiju, which is due out this coming Friday if I am not mistaken.
Single You Out: Solo For Dolo – Powdered Toazt Man
I’ve been waiting for some new Solo For Dolo material to make it to me and here we have it the form of his new album, Last Call For Apathy. The track Powdered Toazt Man has an understated funkiness to it. And Solo For Dolo, may not have been someone on your radar before, but he should be a rather large blip at this point. This guy has flow for days and I can point you to several projects that indicate that over the years, but why don’t you just check this song and then his most current album offering.
Single You Out: John Jigg$ – Pull Up
Here’s some new hype music from John Jigg$. The production from DJ Six3one is uptempo and almost feels like something you could hear at club. I can definitely see this song rocking a party or something to get your evening going.
Jigg$ has a natural ease about him when he rocks the mic. Everything just meshes perfectly in his flow and when mixed with the production, it makes this track a high energy endeavor.
Single You Out: Jon Glass – Price Of Love (ft. M-Dot)
This post is a week late in the making from producer Jon Glass’ weekly series. And to be honest, I don’t follow weekly series such as this because I have a hard time keeping up, but this one features favorite M-Dot. So we definitely have to share. Glass utilizes a jazzy piano loop, a soulful vocal sample, and some snapping drums for M-Dot to flip on. And the emcee, goes over the history and formula of separating himself from the pack as an artist. It doesn’t take you long to figure out why.
I hope that Jon Glass makes this series available fo purchase at some point because I would like to hear it in it’s entirety.
Twin Eagles – Godflow (ft. Ras Kass) (prod. By C-Lance) (Video)
Twin Eagles is the combination of Sycksyllables and Dephchyld and they really bring their A-Game with this new track entitled, Godflow. And of coarse you add dope production from C-Lance and guest bars from Ras Kass isn’t going to hurt the cause. Very hypnotic production with strong lyrical fortitude is always going to equal a win.
Be on the lookout for more from Twin Eagles…I believe they may have an album dropping on December 7th if the research is right.
Invincible Mask (Kyo Itachi x Tha Soloist) – Highs & Lows
Producer Kyo Itachi unites with the prolific emcee, Tha Soloist to form the Invincible Mask for this new track Highs & Lows. It’s coming off their forthcoming Boom Bap Bigelow. The track has almost a western vibe to an it will definitely get infused in your mindframe.
Stay tuned!
Saipher Soze – Black Rambo (ft. Finn) (Video)
New video out from the man Saipher Soze and his accomplice, Finn. It’s lifted off of Soze’s latest album, God Body. It’s one part jazzy boom-bap, and two parts that hardbody hip hop. It’s artists like this that keep it moving and in turn keep hip hop alive.
Single You Out: Famoso – Burgundy Clouds (ft. Spit Gemz)
It’s been a long time since I have featured from music from the artist Famoso, but he just released a project called, Tales From Tha’ Dopeside, and he needs to be represented again. The project is eleven tracks long and they are ALL bangers.
Burgundy Clouds features the one and only Spit Gemz so I selected this track as the feature from the album. And while this track is a few years old, these guys show great chemistry and unleash a fury of wordplay over production from Alterbeats.
Check the project! You won’t regret it!
Tone Atlas – Gold Bars (Video)
I didn’t support Tone Atlas’ release, Water To Wine, as much as I should have, so let me make some atonements. It’s a dope release with strong production from ELEMNT. This particular track has a natural street flavor in the same vein as Meyhem Lauren or Action Bronson and the flows that Atlas’ is giving us, sound effortless.
Boogieman Dela – Say It To My Face (ft. Skrewtape) (Video)
Here’s a super tough track from Boogieman Dela with the man Skrewtape. Just some of that aggressive hip hop music that your are going to blast in the late hours of the evening while cruising the city in your whip. Production comes courtesy of Deet The Beat Machine.
If you are diggin’ it check out Dela’s new EP, Broken Watch.
