Stu Bangas really has developed some sickness from behind the boards on this one. The bass line…guitar licks…with the drums is premier stuff. Blacastan delivers his bars like a hell hound. He’s got firey bars and owns this rhythm.

Excuses was of course the first single from the same EP. The beat from Moore on this joint is a creeper. It just embeds itself in your head and stalks the mind. Illmaculate, meanwhile, writes and executes a couple of dope verses. Guest, Bobby Bucher, tackles a third verse that make me reminiscent of Devin The Dude in cadence and flow.

As certain members of the police appear ever more at odds with the Black Community, it’s songs like this that give us that lend perspective to time and place.

Saint Joe arrives on our pages with the crack of thunder. It looks like it’s been out for a while and I just missed it. The best way for me to describe this track with Chino XL and Chris Rivers is rawkus! The beat strikes like controlled chaos, while the emcees release an unrelenting fire. In particular Chino XL drops some ridiculously rapid fire delivery.
