I have listened to the Heroin Farms EP from Mooch and Farmabeats several times over because of it’s overall dopeness and they keep crankin’ out these dope visuals to simply exemplify what I am talking about. Mooch has a really great flow they way he assembles his verses. Just something about the way this emcee puts his bars together and Farma is on the top of his game, no doubt.
Recognize Ali – Inauguration (Video)
No artist has created more dopeness in 2018 than this man right here. Recognize Ali has bodied song after song and album after album. The Inauguration is off his latest album I Self Lord And Master, and is just one of many dope cuts from the album, and an impeccable discography to date. Jakk Wonders on the super tight production.
Make sure yo show appreciation for great art by purchasing the album!
Raspy – Chess Game (ft. Saipher Soze) (Video)
I’ve heard Raspy off of a few releases and saw he just released a new album, for which Chess Game, is the title track. I was not disappointed when I gave this listen and hence copped the album. Saipher Soze with some guest bars rocking over some dope production from Finn.
Physics Of Filth -Moonwalk (ft. Black Nazi) (Video)
Good lawd. If you don’t own the new album from Physics Of Filth (Daniel Son x Asun Eastwood x Futurewave) stop reading this, and go pick it up now. This is album is more necessary than any deal that you can cop on Black Friday. Guaranteed to be one of the illest releases this year and this song Moonwalk featuring Black Nazi is just the tip of that frozen cold goodness. Do not sleep on this one iota! The bars are undeniable heat and what Futurewave is doing to these dirty rhythms is just unparalleled. He’s been the crux of two of the best albums to drop this year.
Sleep not. Fair warning.
Ras Kass – SOI3 (ft. K-Rino) (prod. Apollo Brown) (Video)
Man, I love this reworking of a classic! You’ve got K-Rino joining Ras Kass trading verses over an Apollo Brown reworking of the Diamond D classic remix of the original which is a sacred treasure of mine and many.
I really do love the addition of K-Rino to the track as he is one of the illest emcees, and also amongst the most underrated. His bars here are primo. Respect!
Can’t wait for the new project!
DJ Illegal x Side Effect -Rock Bottom (Video)
DJ Illegal of the Snowgoons linked up with Side Effect for a new project this past Halloween called, Musica De Los Muertos. There’s something a little maniacal in the lyricism, music, and the visuals. It’s a little like an audible walk through a distorted funhouse. Enjoy!
WateRR X Doc Da Mindbenda – Lynch’n (Video)
WateRR is quickly becoming one of my favorite artists. His voice and delivery is just unique. He has a gravel to his tone, but an effortless flow…hence his moniker perhaps. Here’s his channeling Mashawn Lynch for the track, Lynch’n, off his collaborative project with Doc Da Mindbenda, Chinese WateRR Torture, which is out now. The track fuses both smooth and raw elements of hip hop for audible splendor, and if you like this one you are going to love the other two tracks off the short project. The title track is absolutely amazing in my humble opinion.
Fortunato – Out For Blood (Video)
Here we have an aggressive single from Fortunato backed by a hard-hitting, frenetic symphony by Scopic. The song knocks from all angles. From a lyrical perspective Fortunato demonstrates a rapid-fire flow and delivery that is chocked full of rewind moments.
This song can be found on his new project, MDCXVII.
Apollo Brown x Joell Ortiz – Cocaine Fingertips (Video)
Apollo Brown and Joell Ortiz have a new collaborative album out called Mona Lisa which is quite dope. This track, Cocaine Fingertips, is not just given the video treatment, but more or less the cinematic treatment. Brown drops a tight beat in stealth mode with Ortiz painting some ill lines with his super refined flow, all mingled in this video between a Pablo Escobar-esque story line.
Very entertaining….COP THE ALBUM.
Def3 – Fill Your Soul (Video)
Here’s the second video single from the outstanding album from Def3, Small World, produced entirely by Late Night Radio. This track is one of the more uptempo and fun tracks from a great album that is filled with dopeness and positivity. If you love hip-hop, and I know you do, you are going to love this cut and this album.
