Madhattan – Canal St (Video)

Madhattan is one of my favorite artists right now. I really felt his last project, Brown Water Bible, and all of his features have been on point. Here on Canal St, we get Icrerocks produced heat, while Madhattan details what the street life is like in his neighborhood.

His new album, Sink Or Swim, is out now. I have given it a couple of spins, and it’s dope from the jump to the conclusion. Make sure you check that out.

K.A.A.N. – Decadence (Video)

K.A.A.N. is such a unique talent and I love his skill set. A unique flow, intelligent lyricism, and a diverse artistic mind when it comes to crafting songs. This track has this fun and fresh vibe to it that is sponsored by Smuff Tha Quiz. It harkens back to the sound of 1990s Souls Of Mischief or Pharcyde to me…or if you are on this level MadKap.

At any rate….I believe there is a new project from K.A.A.N. dropping on July 9th. This man is always working. Be on the look out.

Fatt Father – The Truth (Video)

This is another cut off of Fatt Father’s latest, and incredibly dope album, Soccer Dad. Now this is a cut that really benefits from the visual treatment. The director really captured the rawness that Fatt Father was trying to deliver in this joint. The therapy through music and the raw state of life really comes through here.

After Soccer Dad, I really have a new appreciation about Fatt Father as an artist. His skills are completely deft and on display for the world to see, and he does so in a way we can relate. That’s pretty special.

Check out the album!

John Jigg$ x BP – Killer (ft. Shabaam Sahdeeq) (Video)

I’ve been talking about John Jigg$ actively over the last couple of days and giving his projects maximum play time because I think this guy is an an ELITE artist. I listen to alot of music and this man is at a pinnacle level. His project with BP, The Madness, is out now and is the material legends are made of. Almost every song has been given the visual treatment, and deservedly so. Here he trades bars with Shabaam Sahdeeq over an epic production from BP. If you are are still sleeping, there’s no helping you. You should know by now.

DNA – Boss50 (Video)

M-Dot put me onto this visual showcase of talent from Boston. I really enjoyed the concept of someone putting their entire city on and showcasing the diversity of talent that’s involved. I can’t really say that there were any weak bars. Obviously when you have so many eclectic styles, some you will prefer, and others you may not. But overall I think this was pretty vicious and extremely well done. Shout to DNA for putting all of these artists on and making is super dope. It definitely put me on to some new names.

UFO Fev & Vanderslice – Crack Shifts (ft. Flee Lord) (Video)

UFO Fev rested all of 15 minutes before he’s back at it and continuing on that tear of dropping heat in large amounts. This time we have the video single, Crack Shifts, off of the collaborative project with producer Vanderslice, Enigma Of Dali. We also have the equally dope and prolific, Flee Lord on the track. So with the combination of all three artists you knew this one was going to knock heavy!
