Caucasian – Boom Bap Blueprint (Video)

Alright, I live in Texas and when I think of hip hop music, I am not exactly thinking the Pan Handle area but you know what, Caucasian (who hails from Lubbock) can put it down.  He’s got that classic flow that’s well, associated with boom bap.  He sounds like he’s directly out of 1996 with his voice (that is a compliment).  The production from Sivey has a definitively bluesy feel that is reminiscent of some Stevie Ray Vaughan guitar licks.

Caucasian’s album, Diggin’ The Shelf, is hitting stores soon…

LordWillin’ – Soul Search (Video)

This submission was buried in my SPAM folder but I resurrected it and brought it to light. LordWillin’ was a familiar name.  I know I have heard him on a track or two but right now I can’t place it.

At any rate, he’s got a nice flow and it’s definitely something the readership here is going to like.  Also, his new street album, The Warrior Class is available for free download. On first glance, that looks pretty dope.

Locksmith – Transitions (Video)

New Locksmith!  Yes.  The way the game is played these days, or with the amount of music I listen to, I briefly forgot that he is one of the illest spitters of his generation and possibly all generations.  His concepts and lyricism are amazing.  I also am really happy he teamed up with Khrysis for the track.  I think it shows a lot if diversity and gives him a new audience.

The Green Box is coming soon…
