ATAK 1 – Fall From Grace (prod. by Sinima Beatz) (Video)

I saw this posted over at Kevin Nottingham’s spread and I thought it was definitely worthy of one of our five posts today.   The production from Sinima Beatz is spot on.  He cinched it with that sample right from the get go.  ATAK 1 also represents his flaws really well in his gift of rhyme.  And, no, he’s not perfect, but he’s blessed enough to spit some bars for us and that’s good enough here on HHD.  This is off of his mixtape, ComonDante- The Che Guevera of Rap Vol.5.

Ruste Juxx – Gimme Da Loot (Video)

Very few people work as hard as Ruste Juxx does. He always optimizes each and every project he does.  We always get tons of dope visuals from him along with a grip of singles.  That way there should be no reason  for you NOT to cop his new album.  Gimme Da Loot is off of his latest album, Ready To Juxx which was produced entirely by VS The Best. The story, it turns out, is prompted by a stolen umbrella.  Go figure.

Tim Gustave – French Touch (Video)

This video straight up made me want to go visit Paris.  This is where dope meets charming.   Gustave also has a nice flow, and the fact he can go from English to French is pretty impressive.    If the French want to entice a bunch of hip hop heads to come across the pond, perhaps they should use this video?  This single was lifted from Tim Gustave’s new EP, Fragments Of A Dream which I have not heard but may be checking out shortly.

The 17th – Rubbish ft. Spoke In Wordz, Fokis (Video)

You may remember The 17th from our feature on him earlier this year.   The man has a crazy amount of talent.   And if you think that this cut is dope, make sure you check that EP.  It’s free (now available on iTunes but worth every penny) and was rated the best EP of 2012 right here on HHD.  Support artists like The 17th, Spoke In Words, and Fokis because we too are tired of the Rubbish.

KAMALA (DJ Ready Cee – El Gant – Parakhan) – Modelo Music (Video)

Short of that Nino Bless track, Rhyme Of The Year, this might be the filthiest flow of the year.  El Gant goes anywhere and everywhere with his lyrics, from Kurt Vonnegut to the Mariana Trench (now that’s deep).   I am not sure who the responsible party is for this beat so I am just going to go with Parakhan DJ Ready Cee.  If that’s the case, then the man gets major props from me.    This is a definite head nodder.  You won’t be able to help it.  Check out their self-titled EP, HERE.

Jermiside & Danny Diggs: Victory Is Mine (Video)

Jermiside is a relate able artist.  The lyricism is just something I can apply to my own life.  I love that.  It’s like reading a book where you identify with the lead character.  This is really how the entire album rides.  Danny Diggs gives you soothing rhythms while Jermiside drops gems.  Does that sound worthwhile to you?  If it does than Quiet As Kept is in your lane and will probably be the next album I review.
