MaLLy – YOUNG (Video)

I had meant to post this when it dropped but life happened and I forgot.  But I was reminded when I went back and listened to MaLLy’s most recent project, Strange Rhythm.  MaLLy has one of the coldest flows and it’s hard to duplicate the hunger that you hear in his voice.  It just sounds like he’s on an unstoppable march to success right now.  And with that being said, NEVER steal a man’s mustache.  It will come back on you ten fold!

Naturally Born Strangers – Tie Breaker (Video)

Naturally Born Strangers is comprised of Rich Kidd, Tona, and Adam Bomb.  I was actually looking for the release of their new album a few weeks ago and could not find it for the life of me.  Now I  catch this video for Tie Breaker and learn that you can DL the album for free here.

This track is impeccable.  The beat can almost be defined as spiritual and the verses, with the story unfolding, are just plain phenomenal.  Any time a song give you the chills, you can consider that a good thing.  I can’t wait to give this album a listen.

Skanks – The Huntsmen (ft. Raf Almighty) (prod. by Kyo Itachi) (Video)

Bankai Fam meets the Dirt Platoon, when Skanks and Raf Almighty form The Huntsmen.  The venerable Kyo Itachi does the proper work behind the boards to create that grimy and gritty sound that you are hearing.   This track is pulled off of Skanks’ forthcoming album, The Shinigamie Flowfessional.   I believe the project will be produced completely by Itachi though that’s not confirmed.

Lord Lhus & PSL – Ground You Walk Upon (Video)

I am really enjoying this track from Lord Lhus & PSL.  The production from Dirty Dike is phenomenal.    There is something enchanting about the female vocals in the chorus that compliments the tough bars from the emcees.   The video also has a lot of artistic value with things as simple as lighting and transitions.

This cut is the first single from the forthcoming Lhus/East Garden album, International RhymeZ Connect.

Rahim Samad – Alkahest (Video)

Rahim Samad is one of my favorite new names for 2013.   I just got put onto him a couple of months ago and he hasn’t disappointed since.  This video, and more so the song, are just a reflection of the overall talent that I hope to hear with the coming of his new album,  Travel Properly: Motion Picture Soundtrack.  Be sure to check out the other two tracks I featured HERE.
