Single You Out: Taiyamo Denku – Ice Cold (ft. Kool G Rap x Vinnie Paz) (prod. by DCYPHA)

It’s hard to argue with the dopeness found in this song.  Taiyamu Denku and Australian producer DCYPHA are out to create some night stalker music with their collaborative album, SUPERNATURAL.  The album is going to drop on June 25th with a slew of dope guest spots.   As a matter of fact, with Kool G Rap and Vinnie Paz on this joint, I am pretty sure that someone lost their life in the making of this song…Fire!!!

Single You Out: DJ Nucleus – Night Is Yours (ft. Joe Lazarus, Don Streat, Senica Da Misfit, Revalation)

I see the homie Don Streat popping up on a lot of releases this year.  I guess heads are starting to recognize the talent…finally.   This track, with the production from DJ Nucleus, is hype.  Joining Streat on this track is Joe Lazarus, Senica Da Misfit, and EMS’ Revalation.  It’s a recipe for a banger.

This track can be found on DJ Nucleus’ latest mixtape, Forces Unleashed Round 2

Single You Out: Rediculous – Kalashnikov and Kush (ft. Shabaam Sahdeeq, El Gant, Famoso, Bekay)

I love the music Rediculous puts out.   He always puts out fantastic beats and tags with the elite emcees in the game.  In this case, on Kalashnikov and Kush he gets bars from Shabaam Sahdeeeq (has anyone done more work than him in 2014), El Gant, Famoso, and Bekay.  That’s one hell of a line up!

Rediculous’ new album, In Response: Dee-Fi, is due out hopefully soon!

Single You Out: Gripz – Walk In My Shoes (ft. Marka) (prod. by Anno Domini)

How can you truly judge a man if you’ve never been where he’s been?  Good question.  You can’t. With  the bars contained in this track you can here the intensity and frustration with which this man spits.  I have been a fan of Gripz for more than just a few years.  He has an unrelenting passion for rocking mics, but if you listen closely to his verses he’s also afflicted with OCD, which at times makes creating music near impossible.  He doesn’t shy away from this fact.  And while we may never know what that’s like for Gripz, he lets his bars go on this Anno Domini producer banger.   Fuel for the fire….

Be on the lookout for Poetic Literature Vol. 3 to be put out on Anno Domini’s label, hopefully in the near future.

Single You Out: Rumorz – One Way Ticket (ft. Millyz)

I needed to break up the monotony by posting an extremely catchy song from Rumorz.  I believe I have some other material from Rumorz in my iTunes but can’t place his music right now.  This track’s production kind of reminds me of something I would hear on a Kid Cudi record.  It’s very whimsical, like you can sit back and just transport yourself via the record.

I apologize in advance if you are humming this for the rest of the afternoon.  I could not help but like it.

Single You Out: Copywrite x Surock – Trouble

It’s only one verse but Copywrite reflect on the troubles he’s seen while Surock is taking the congregation to church with a piano laced production and a sample of a church choir.   The latter half of the track is completely instrumental but dope nonetheless.

This is taken from their yet to be released collaborative affair, Choose Your Own Adventure: Murderland.  I don’t think this release has a date as of yet.  We will keep you posted.

Single You Out: 7evenThirty – Hook Heavy (ft. Sean Price) (prod. by Gensu Dean)

Gensu Dean ain’t right for this beat!  This is creeper music right here.  The kind of production that haunts emcees in their dreams.  Luckily 7evenThirty and Sean Price are well versed (no pun intended) in tackling this beat. Great music and great bars.

Both singles have been real nice for Dean and 7evenThirty’s collaborative project, The Problem.   There are some high expectations set for this project.

Single You Out: Goldini Bagwell – Read All About It (ft. Iame, OnlyOne, and Illmaculate)

It’s so good to hear a few Sandpeople brethren on a track together.   Read All About It has epic written all over it with Pmpee giving the track a very regal production.  That seems appropriate when you have this NorthWest royalty blessing the track.   The blending of styles on this joint is pretty damn amazing (as it is always).   Such divergent flows and styles and they always come out sounding vintage!

Goldini Bagwell’s new EP, Secondhand Smoke – The Extended Cut drops June 24th but you can pre-order an assortment of packages right now.

Single You Out: Eff Yoo & Godilla – Armed To The Teeth (ft. Shabaam Sahdeeq , Adlib, Spit Gemz, and UG)

Wack rappers best call a full retreat because it’s not safe outside for you when Eff Yoo and Godilla’s project, They Came On Horseback, drops next week.  This joint has bars that are toxic to the weak minded.  The guys bring a militia with them in the form of Shabaam Sahdeeq, Adlib, Spit Gemz, and UG.   Those are top notch artists delivering equally to notch  material.
