The Spic Academy is back at it again with a third single from their forthcoming project, and we would expect nothing iller. This one is a quick hitter but good things come in small packages, so appreciate that!
Single You Out: Red Pill – Fuck Your Ambition (ft. P.O.S.)

Red Pill (Ugly Heroes) has got a new project, Instinctive Drowning, that has a release date for late August. Fuck Your Ambition, again has the listener seeing life through the lens of Pill. So all you strivers and motivators…you can stuff it. It’s Pill’s unique take on ‘ambition’ that really gets those thoughts moving.
Single You Out: SpiderdaGod – God Save The Crown (feat. Nino Bless x K-Rino x Ness Lee x Miilkbone)
You want a posse cut that’s absolutely full of dope lines? Check out this track from SpiderdaGod, God Save The Crown. He’s assembled some of the illest, yet underrated spittas in the game. This song is intense with bars from Nino Bless, Ness Lee, K-Rino, and Miilkbone.
Single You Out: Cayoz – It Dont Stop (Feat. Mayhem, Revalation & DJ JabbaThaKut)
Hip Hop Dependency family, Cayoz, is back with a new single that is simply put…fuego. He’s teaming up with producer O*Zee (who is a dope emcee by the way) and Mayhem and Revalation of EMS. It’s a union of dopeness. Then you got Jabbathakut chopping it up, making this the sure shot.
Relay on the mic!
Single You Out: Saint Joe – Homicide Fetish (feat. Chris Rivers & Chino XL)
Saint Joe arrives on our pages with the crack of thunder. It looks like it’s been out for a while and I just missed it. The best way for me to describe this track with Chino XL and Chris Rivers is rawkus! The beat strikes like controlled chaos, while the emcees release an unrelenting fire. In particular Chino XL drops some ridiculously rapid fire delivery.
Thinning Out The Herd drops on August 5th and is available for Pre-Order.
Single You Out IDE – Grudges
IDE releases the third single from his near impeccable album with Lucky Loopiano, Breathe Easy. However, while most of the album is produced by Loopiano, this one is self-produced. This makes sense since IDE is an extremely accomplished producer.
If you are still late on checking the album, make sure you rectify that immediately.
Single You Out: E. Smitty – I Can’t Breathe (ft. Chino XL)
Any cut with Chino XL is bound to be a win. Have you ever heard a wack bar from the man? Let me answer…no never. Over 20 years in this game and every verse has been incomparable.
You can say the same here over this E. Smitty production. The production provides the same level of intensity that Chino XL delivers.
I hope E. Smitty is working on an album because from what I have heard he has a great taste for beats and ear for working with the best emcees.
Single You Out: Third Sight – Trife
I know many of you may not be up on the group Third Sight, but this team has been at it on the Left Coast for well over a decade. The unit is comprised of Roughneck Jihad, D-Styles, and Dufunk. And while it’s never been a steady stream of releases, it’s nice to se some new music from them.
Trife is music a slow-creeper that suggests you shouldn’t wander into dark alleys for too long, less you get your body snatched.
I hope that some new music is on it’s way…who knows…maybe an album?
Single You Out: Shaz Illyork – HeatStroke
First single off of Shaz Ilyork’s forthcoming, Fly, High & Broke Pt. 2. This is a high intensity banger that set an ominous tone for the album as a whole. Illyork sounds like he is ready for big things for the remainder of the year. I also see that the album features a reunion with Spit Gemz. That shit should sound impeccable.
Single You Out: Buttatones – DeepSoul
Here’s a rarity these days…a dope artist that we haven’tfeatured before! I got the album link from Buttatone’s new album, Tsunami, in my inbox, and I gave it a spin. And this is actually quite a dope project. Quite damn refreshing as I feel hip hop has gotten redundant and stale at this point.
Check it!
