I was not up on Bobby Craves and Feral Serge but I am thinking I am going to start looking out. I like the simplicity of the production from Jay Sax as the bass line drives the music. All the while Craves and Serge deliver some intricate some bars that the listener really can dig into. It’s the exceptional turn of phrase that will draw you in.

The track is personal and introspective, with a touch of despair. The track suggests that no matter the belongings, situation, and company that the artist will still feel lonely. This new single from Cayoz will inevitably have you nodding your head and snapping those fingers. Out The Box is a complete hip hop party for you ears. Cool FD puts together some of his best work for this track with the jazzy flavor, horns, and pianos. It’s layer after layer of musical dopeness. Then you’ve got Grazzhoppa chopping up an old school Slick Rick sample amongst others making it even more memorable. Cayoz, Vandalyzm, and Add-2 each drop a dope 16 to make this song stick with you.

UG’s forthcoming album, Portals, is my White Whale. I have been waiting for it forever and for the longest time, I thought it was never going to drop. I thought it was just going to be shelved. But now we have proof of life with the IDE produced single, The Mystic. On this track you get to hear UG flip a one of a kind style over a production that actually caters to the word…”mystic”.

This beat from Vic Grimes is just point blank, treacherous. I love how the guitar maneuvers through the drums. Daniel Son, Acetik, and SmooVth each put in quality work on the microphone making this song something memorable.

Single You Out: Blak Flag – Revolvers b/w The Rainmaker (ft. Marvalyss)
Blak Flag and his team are all over the HHD radar. This emcee is one of the dopest around with hard lyricism backed by Sherm LaRock’s neck-snapping drums that plays like the Pied Piper with that flute loop. Just leading heads down that boom bap path. I have heard near 20 cuts that involve Flag and they were all dope. I hope you are all paying attention.
On this track we got Flag teaming up with Marvalyss to flip another banger from Larock. Are you getting the picture yet? The two emcees really sound good together. Their voices and their lyrical skill are very much on par with each other so the song is consistent.

He rides the piano infused boom bap from Doom to the fullest extent, setting us up for his next project, Tmeless: of the collection. That’s set to drop early next year.

Oh you want some bars? Blank Face has got some bars for you. SoulNewYork provides some production that lies stealthy in the background while the emcee puts in some serious work on the mic. It’s definitely that grimy, yet intelligent east coast boom bap that you need for those ear drums.
