Single You Out: PremRock – Fetanyl (ft. billy woods x Vekked)

We’ve talked about it before, but let’s make mention of it again:  PremRock is clearly an innovator when it comes to making hip hop music.  His lyricism is slick, crafty, and has a tendency to get those synapses firing in that brain of yours.

His new project with Fresh Kils, Poet’s Payday, is an extension of the previous comment.  This project again illustrates that creativity that we all love.  Fresh Kils  cooks up a delicious avant garde production, while billy woods adds his own innovations via a complimentary sixteen.

I am sure that hip hop lovers of all ilks will love this track and the project as a whole.

Single You Out: DJ Zid – Frequently (ft. Awon and dkay)

I LOVE this EP from Switzerland’s DJ Zid, called Shadows.   It’s only a few tracks long but there is so much dopeness packed within.  Finding producers who can articulate that jazzy hip hop flavor are just a rare breed, and Zid just laid an impactful claim to that role.  I mean this EP is perfect.  It’s a 10 out of 10 in my opinion, but this cut featuring Awon is an absolute favorite.   Just a GREAT song from the production to the chorus.  I hope you enjoy as much as I do.

Single You Out: Ill Conscious – Capital Investements (ft. DJ Grazzhoppa)

Here’s a project and artist that needs to be mentioned in the form of Ill Conscious and his lates venture, The Prerequisite.  The flow on this track, Capital Investments, is nothing short of lyrical surgery on the track.  Conscious’ wordplay on this tracks sophisticate with lots of noteworthy lines.  Plus, DJ Grazzhoppa is on the cuts, and when he is involved on a track, you know his touches are going to put it over the top.

This is a standout cut not only from the project, but for the year thus far. Check it out!

Single You Out: Spittzwell – Style Wars (ft. Jarren Benton)

Here’s some hotness from emcee, Spittzwell.  Everything I have heard from him as an artist has been definitely remarkable and memorable.  Style Wars, featuring Jarren Benton, has everything I love about a track.  The production (self-produced) has those neck snapping drums and the lyricism/flows are more than just solid, they are exceptional

Single You Out: Little Vic – HAARP

Little Vic is back with some new and rare music from his vaults.  The man really has been prolific over the years, but much of it has not yet been heard.   Now enter his upcoming project, Loosies 2, which is set to drop later this month.   Here you will get to hear some of the depth of his work.  But for now check the single, HAARP.  There’s a little double etendre happening here, if you are able to pick it up.
