More heat from Nowaah The Flood and Ca$ablanca with production courtesy of The Kurse. The emcees ride this smooth guitar laden track, but deliver a series of tough bars regardless of the tempo. Really feeling what they are bringing to hip hop these days.
Single You Out: Nomadic – Quite Like This
Who possibly isn’t going to like this joint here? Nomadic channels the Golden Era of hip and drops more than just a little gem here. He has crazy flow and lyricism and when you combine this beat which is reminiscent of Pete Rock, you have audio gold.
I can tell from listening to just half of his album, The Journey, that Nomadic is a super talented artist and someone we should be watching out for in the future. But for now, enjoy his present endeavors.
Single You Out: Jedi Mind Tricks – Certified Dope
JMT fires off the second single from their forthcoming album, The Bridge & The Abyss, dropping on June 22nd. Certified Dope has a higher paced and more funky feel than the previous single, but the same high impact.
Mark the album release on your calendar!
Single You Out: The P Brothers – Saltfish (ft. Daniel Son)
The P Brothers just dropped their EP entitled Mentaltainment, and what better way to put people onto the project than sharing the song with featuring one of the sickest emcees in the business, Daniel Son.
This song is the sure shot. No mistake about it.
Single You Out: ethemadassassin – Mercalli (prod. by Quake Mobb)
ethemaddassassin links up with production team Quake Mobb for this heavy banger. There is something symphonic and powerful about this cut. It can be found off of the forthcoming collaborative project, Bear Handz Pt. 1: Magmatic, which is set to drop next Friday, May 25th.
Single You Out: Venomous2000 x Trilian – I Ain’t Particular
Venemous2000 and Trilian are linking up again for another project, which is follow up to their 2017 album, Sounds Of The Great Ones, which we received plenty of rotation here at HHD,
If this latest single, I Ain’t Particular, is any indication, well…these guys literally haven’t missed a beat (no pun intended). It’s that dope material through and through with DJ TMB on the cuts.
Be on the lookout for the album dropping soon!
Single You Out: Pawz One x Robin Da Landlord – On The Daily (ft. Prince Po x Vegamonster)
One last single before the album from Pawz One and Robin Da Landlord, Sell Me a Dream: Flowstalgia, drops this Friday.
On The Daily is a smooth head nodder that features flows from Prince Po and Vegamonster. Really good hip hop here and sure to be on that album.
Be prepared to cop!
Single You Out: Abyss – Barbaric (ft. Apathy)
Abyss invites Apathy to drop bars alongside him over this Teddy Roxpin banger. Definitely a hype track. Looking forward to hearing more from Abyss in the future and becoming more familiar.
Single You Out: Sareem Poems x Ess Be – Shallow (ft. Finale)
New single from collaborators, Sareem Poems and Ess Be from their forthcoming project, Mind Over Matter, which will be dropping in June. The duo links up with accomplished Detroit emcee, Finale.
The premise of the song reveals how shallow we as a society we have become our endeavors and seemingly put an increasing importance on ourselves and not on those around us.
Single You Out: Ras Beats – And I Say (ft. John Jigg$)
Now this track is just all kinds of well-rounded type dope! John Jigg$ teaming up over some Ras Beats rhythms?! Shit got all types of filthy on this track. This beats is among the hardest I have heard in 2018. The drums are ridiculous and Jigg$ spits nothing but flames.
This song is the second installment of a year round EP that Ras Beats has cooking so check back in a couple of months to hear the newness but enjoy this for now.
