This is quite the combo right here with Daniel Son and Asun Eastwood rocking over production from Futurewave. You’ve got some edgy bars from the emcees , and the production matches that edge with some engaging boom-bap. This is the squad right here.

Here’s some real dope that I had to share from Buck-N-Nice’s new album by the same title, EMAG. This track will be stuck in my mind throughout the year as one of the best I have heard. I love the beat, and the way these verses are drawn up is quite memorable.

I am really now just getting up on Eto and what he is bringing to the table. I heard him murk a few features and thought I needed to get up on his projects. I saw this new EP with producer Flu entitled, Motion Picture. And this is the track that they are all talking about. It’s some back alley, watch your back music going on right here with this beat and the features from Crimeapple and Smoovth.
I am going to have to go through his back catalogue now!

Souslicers new project, The Black Album, is out now and it goes 26 tracks long and is laced with all the things that make hip hop great. The production team has always crafted some stand out joints over the course of their career, and on this project, you get a great mix of their capabilities.
My favorite track from this project, is this ruggedness featuring, Ricky Bats. You need to cop this though. There will be no regrets.

Gary Rue has been a very active artist as of late. Here’s his new single featuring, Jake Burrelli, with production from A1 Kutloose. The track has a cool, old-school-esque vibe about it. Both emcees flip rather nicely over this production that has that slick bassline.
Enjoy!

Here is some smart and dope hip hop music from Chuck N Lock that I stumbled across and thought it only proper to share. The production is super mellow and chill, which allows you to focus on some really great lyricism. The flows are so natural and the lines are smart and at times crafty. I think you are going to like this.
This is my favorite cut off of the short but dope, Blue Shell Theory.

This is the lead single for C Keys and Kazi’s forthcoming album, Keys 2 Kazi, which is due out later this year. This is track has a high energy feel with the electric guitar riffs used as the backbone of the productions. And DJ Grazzhoppa only builds off of that momentum, with perfect scratching perfection. The contrasting styles from Guilty Simpson and C Keys plays well. Dope music!

DJ Skizz has dropped a project today called, High Powered. And this track Superfly, featuring YL and Starker is the first single. Skizz plays the pied piper with the wind instrument as it wraps its way around your head. It’s super smooth, and the emcees definitely execute the vision here.
I can’t wait to check the whole project. I will be copping in a moment.

Good news folks! The Aztext are back again and making new music. It’s been a minute since we have heard from the Vermont duo, but they haven’t missed a step with their latest single, Everyday Sun. The guys always bring a fresh perspective to their music with good vibes and poignant lyricism. This time they add a ton of soul to the mix with vocals from Xenia Buford, and some supreme horns from producer Rico James.

Now this track is one that simply goes! Vanderslice produces a concise yet dark track that assumes the perfect landscape for Ren Thomas, Skrewtape, and Slaughter Rico to rock over. I especially appreciate Thomas’ intensity to start the ball rollin’. He has that intensity that really hits home.
I am not sure where this track is destined to surface or if it’s just a loosie, but it’s certainly dope.
