The last few songs I have heard from L.E.G.A.C.Y. have all been strong. Whether they be his own, or he’s dropping a verse on someone elses project, he ALWAYS drops solid bars. I really don’t want dude to quit making hip hop music. I think he has exceptional talent. First Supastition and now L.E.G.A.C.Y.? I digress. I am going to keep enjoying his music as long as he is making it. You should too. Enjoy this track!
So this song is a two prong success. First it serves as a reminder as to how dope The Beatnuts are. They are one of the most underrated crews in hip hop history. So many dope songs have come from The Beatnuts and they have never gotten their full due. This beat is a classic and comes from their very first EP, Intoxicated Demons.
Secondly, if there was a group who was equipped to do service to this cut, it is the Brown Bag AllStars. These guys do an incredible job of taking this classic hip hop song and give it a modern flair while still maintaining the integrity of track.
Ask me who is the illest lyricist of all time and Chino XL’s names has to enter into that conversation. He is one of those artists that just calls you attention when he spits his bars. Just a man who is in total command of his craft. I can not wait until his album, The RICANstruction: The Black Rosary, drops. But if this is what the entire project will sound like, I think the populous is in for a treat. Enjoy the first single from the album!
I wanted to share both of this new track with you guys. Just Flowing has been on a serious grind as of late. When I listened to his first mixtape I could hear the talent but I wanted to hear some more polished tracks and sound from him before I started posting his material. A few months later, I hit you all off with his track w/ Mav, Heartless. I thought that track was honestly very dope and deserved recognition. But now the man hits me with another, more meaningful banger, which further illustrate the man’s talent and progression.
The Unknown Prophets just recently became familiar with me when emcee, Big Jess, dropped a double album for free earlier this year. I really liked a lot of the material and vowed I would not sleep again, hence I am putting you on to one sick sounding track that features none other than Planet Asia. This cut is so very ill. Everything about this track warrants a hip hop fan’s attention. Be on the look out for World Premiere 2 this Fall. Credit 2DopeBoyz for this find!

There were well over one hundred songs leaked in the last few weeks. I passed on posting a lot of them because while they might have been good, they just didn’t move me. This Tzarizm produced track puts so many other of those ‘leaks’ to shame. The drums hit so hard and the piano chords make this production beastly. I have always been a fan of Midaz. He puts out quality work. He has an aggressive style and always seems like he is attacking mics. 9th Prince I am familiar with but really haven’t checked for him. That may soon change.

Not only is Praverb a good person to poly about hip-hop with , he is also one hell of an emcee in his own right. IV the Polymath sent this over and I am most definitely feeling his musical twist to the track. Praverb is a spiritual emcee and you feel the soul and intellect he puts into a track like this just like you felt when listening to him on teh Brainstormer’s project.
