LA Symphony, Hieroglyphics, and The Beat Junkies all represent well on this joint. The beat is especially impressive. It’s like an uptempo symphony. The project is dropping this Tuesday so be on the lookout!
This song has got everything. It’s got a trio of dope emcees. It has the great production from HHD favorite, SciFi Stu. It also has the X-Factor in the cuts by Chinch 33. It’s time people start noticing the gift he has in chopping it up proper. I find I enjoy pretty much any song where he has a credit.

I hate posting on the weekends but I can’t help it. This news is BIG! All of us older heads can breathe again, and youngers can start anew. Natural Elements (Agu, Swigga, and Anthony Cruz) is back in the building and the track is dope! The three show excellent chemistry as if they have never been apart. If you listen to their older material (which I strongly encourage) you will hear that undeniable chemistry again and again. Man, enjoy this people…I know I am.
This is a clear and deliberate track coming off of Rilgood’s forthcoming mix tape, Kingdom. It has a raw, old school vibe to it, which I can appreciate. Is somewhat reminiscent in style to Roc Marciano.

When Snake Hollywood spits, I listen. His EP, My Condolences was one of the highlights of my 2012. Now I hear he has a new release entitled, My Condolences: Addendum dropping sometime this summer. I am not sure what it will include (remixes, new music) but it’s sure to be dope. On the joint, Nuthin’ Higher, Hollywood channels a little of that Run DMC boom bap.
Mr. Morbid & Melph were featured on HHD for the first time a couple of months ago. I really felt that dark and ominous song that they were bringing to the table. Now they seem intent with the release of this single to build a mounting buzz for their upcoming album, Close To The End.
The second single from Undefined’s new project, Certified A-Side, features HHD staples, Nutso and Famoso along side Sycksyllables. The track has a low key rock vibe to it. It also features some nice sampling. It’s definitely dope when you combine the subtlety of the music with the heavy handedness of the emcees.
V-Zilla is not done by a long shot. Six months ago he dropped a highly ill EP and now he comes with this Lamar Mitchell produced single which is just bonkers. The song has got a grip ton of soulful energy inside of it. The production’s guitar and voice samples really meld well with Zilla’s introspective lyricism. How could you not like this joint?
