Rediculous has been super busy as of late. He’s released two full length projects within a years time. He also released and instrumental project a week ago and now he unleashed a new single with Aarophat. I love the name of the cut and the content within. Rediculous is gong to have to reckoned with sooner or later fellas and ladies.
Single You Out: JMega The God (of True Masterz) – Presidentes Muertos
Dee Metto shot over this new single for his collaboration with JMega. You may remember JMega’s previous work with French producer, Junior Makhno. That whole album bangs. If this song is any indication of what his newest album, Niggaz Iz Kingz Forever, is going to sound like, we can count on that knocking just as hard.
Single You Out: S.O.N. – Soulful Street Remix (prod. by Keno Beats)
Producer Keno Beats from Orleans, France keeps breaking me off with the heat! This time he hits us with the “soulful” remix to the track of the same name off of Baltimore S.O.N.’s 2011 album, HisStory (The Autobiography Of Baltimore S.O.N.) And while it’s coming off of an older project, it still delivers that fresh sound!
Single You Out: F.T. – Lonely Days
This ain’t your typical joint regarding love and relationships. F.T. narrates three different verses about three different type of scenarios regarding the ladies. The first thing you will notice is the heatrock production from Musicman. He flips a sample from the Bee Gees that goes by the same name. This song is the type of cut that gets stuck in your head and can’t come out. Intoxicating.
Single You Out: Satchel Page – Fine Wine (ft Neek The Exotic & Mic Handz) (prod. by Alterbeats)
Satchel Page brings in Neek The Exotic and Mic Handz to collaborate on the mic while the break out the wine press for some ‘fine wine’. The beat comes courtesy of French beat maker, Alterbeats. This production is much more smoothed out then I am used to hearing from Alterbeats. I like it. It’s very easy on the ears.
Single You Out: Wyld Bunch – Keep It Movin (ft. Roc Marciano)
This is the first single off of Wyld Bunch’s new project, UNBREAKABLE. It is dropping June 24th and is entirely produced by DJ Brans. I am expecting big things from that project. If you listen to this track you will be expecting the same…as it features guest emcee Roc Marciano.
Single You Out: Curtessy – Memory Lane (ft. AWKWORD)
This track is from a few days ago, but speed has never been the essence of what HHD is about anyway. Curtessy doesn’t just make a play on the Nas Illmatic cut. It has it’s own identity although they share roughly the same tone and speed. AWKWORD joins Curtessy for a verse as well.
This track is off of Curtessy & The Milia’s collaborative EP, Look What The Streets Made.
Single You Out: Passalacqua – Eagles Fly
The fam Mister and Blaksmith are back at it again as Passalacqua and currently pushing the edges of hip hop. This track is not the most accessible joint to get into. The beat is a tad abstract and fluctuates regularly. But Mister and Blaksmith have a knack of turning the extraordinary into something to nod your head to. This is a joint you can play a couple of times to capture all the content spoken. Check it…
Single You Out: Brocky Dennis – Live From NJ (ft. A Ton Of Guys)
If you have nine minutes to spare and enjoy dope hip hop that drops heavy, then this is your joint. Yes, it’s a little long but it’s certainly dope and worth the listen. I was drawn to it because of names like Nemisis (producer), Solo For Dolo, Skewtape, and Tone Liv. The track belongs to Brocky Dennis. At any rate, it goes…
Single You Out: Allen Poe – Gina (ft. Basement Up x Von Pea)
Allen Poe drops a smooth cut featuring Basement Up and Von Pea, with production credits going out to Nemo Achida. It’s smooth, yet fun and energetic when the beat collides with our emcees. This is definitely something heads should take note of. Allen Poe’s album, Pocket Full Of Ohms, is on the horizon.
