This is one of my favorite joints from 1982’s (Statik Selektah x Termanology) album Still 1982. The beat that Statik cooked up for this is the sure shot and when Term links up with Nems it’s nothing but gully raps. And Beanz definitely keeps the momentum going between each of the verses on the chorus. It’s tough, and you shall enjoy.
Jaysaun – Bos x Ct x Philly (ft. Blacastan & Reef The Lost Cauze) (Video)
A dope joint from Jaysaun’s new album, Kill Ya Boss, featuring stalwart emcees Blacastan and Reef The Lost Cauze. And it doesn’t take a listener long to realize that this song is going to knock. But this is just the tip of the iceberg, my friends because Jaysaun’s album is amazing in the sense that it is relentless in its boom-bap prowess but also, in the emotion, he put into this work. It’s quite powerful.
I say it a lot…but you Need to pick this album up…you can’t let 2018 pass without copping.
Curly Castro – Walking Razor b/w Sidney Po (Video)
Curly Castro hits you with a doubleheader here with a video for both Walking Razor and Sidney Po off of his new album, Tosh. Two dope tracks flipped together for this video single, both giving you a really gritty vibe. Both songs are quite ill, but that beat on Sidney Po is just filthy.
Make sure you check out the album! Creative goodness wrapped up in good hip-hop flavors.
Single You Out: Spoda – Talk

Spoda and Whavy Da Gawd connect again for another solid single. Whavy finds the perfect rhythm equipped with a strumming bass line and guitar licks. Spoda then lyrical stalks on this creeping production. He’s got a really nice flow and presence when spitting his bars and so far shows some real consistency in the music he is putting out.
Single You Out: AJ Munson – Guilty (ft. Ruste Juxx x M-Dot)

Producer AJ Munson has a project called Cigarettes & Coffee dropping on January 7th with an assortment of dope artists. Two of those artists are Ruste Juxx and M-Dot…and they do their thing over his soulful production.
Single You Out: Eto x Vinyl Villain – Holes In The Sand

Here is my favorite joint off of Eto and Vinyl Villain’s new release, New Crack Era. Holes In The Sand has an incredibly dark and dope vibe to it. Eto flips some darkness without leaving even trace evidence. What’s beef? Eto and the Villain keep you in the loop with this dope track.
Check the whole EP!!! It’s dope!
Zilla Rocca – Make the Sickness, Sell the Cure (ft. Curly Castro) (Video)
From the highly acclaimed album, Future Former Rapper, Zilla Rocca releases the visual for his track, Make The Sickness, Sell The Cure, featuring the incomparable Curly Castro dropping some bars and providing the chorus. Not everyone is going to get this song, and if you don’t…then it’s not for you. I think you have to be from a certain era to understand what is meant by “….my hip-hop is dead“.
Check out the album, and also be aware that Curly Castro’s project, Tosh, drops this coming Friday.
Main Flow & Mil Beats – Already Dead (Video)
New video from Main Flow and Mil’s album, Sound of Silence. It’s got a mellow flow and vibe to it, but Main Flow isn’t playing around on the mic. He is bringing you the heat in the coldest of seasons, so if provoked to the extend…you Already Dead.
