More fire from the forthcoming Guerilla Dynasty 3 project by Stu Bangas and Recognize Ali. This time they link with the talents of Verbal Kent (who I hope brings more music soon!) and A-F-R-O. They are bringing that high level skill and intensity to this track!
Daniel Son & Ghostnotes – 4th Quarter (Video)
Daniel Son and Ghostnotes are preparing their project, The Estes Method. And they are preparing our ear drums from the project as well with the second single, 4th Quarter.
You can hear the vibe…it’s smooth and has that jazzy element. And Daniel Son just cascades bar after bar in the slickest fashion. I use the term “professional emcee” from time to time, but that’s exactly what he is…a mic pro who has mastered his craft.
Griot Noy & JR Swiftz – Thermodynamics (Video)
Man this track from Griot Noy, and JR Swiftz is fire! This beat is going to hurt someone’s neck with the incessant head nod factor. And Griot Noy is RELENTLESS with these bars. It feels breathless, effortless, and seamless with this verse. I’ve been impressed with his work previous to this…but this is spectacular!
Single You Out: Griffen – Servitude (ft. Squirt ILL)
In an effort to step away from posting the same old, same old we want to bring you some talent you may not be quite familiar with…with a message you may not have heard. Hence, we want to show off the skills from Chicago’s own, Griffen. I’ve heard a few features and joints from him, and purchased his latest project, Effortless Pen Volume 2. There’s some really great music on this project, and Griffen shines as a writer. So please check out this project…my favorite track from the project is, Servitude which features Squirt ILL. The emcees address the state of hip hop and how artists are being compromised by an industry who cares less. Production from Custom Made!
Single You Out: Stu Bangas & Recognize Ali – Gorillas (ft. Lord Goat x Born Unique)
Stu Bangas and Recognize Ali are linking up for another Guerilla Dynasty project, and that means there’s going to be blood on the way. When these guys connect it’s always problem, and for the track Guerillas they team up with hitters, Lord Goat and Born Unique. Each delivers a thump in the night to those listening. Nobody does “ominous” like Stu Bangas. He’s just mastered a sinister sound.
Guerilla Dynasty 3 drops on March 14th.
Single You Out: Reek Osama x Eto – Spilled Milk (prod. by Work Scorsese)
Reek Osama and Eto trade bars over a Work Scorsese soundscape. Shots and bars fly sixteen at a time on, Spilled Milk. The track is short yet razor sharp. Not for the faint of art. Don’t miss!
Daniel Son & Ghostnotes – One Ways (Video)
Daniel Son and producer Ghostnotes drop something melodic for your ears to sink into. Our emcee illustrates his life in motion with how he goes about his business an art. Grinding day after day “to die a legend in the field“. His schedule is relentless, and he remains tenacious in his talent and accomplishments.
This is off the upcoming project, The Estes Method.
Murderers’ Row – Something Outta Nothing (Video)
“Mobbin’…Stealin’…Grindin’…Hustlin’…This is how gonna make something outta nothing”
This is the gutter anthem from the team known as Murderers’ Row backed by the hard hitting production you have come to expect from the Snowgoons. Outerspace, Reef The Lost Cause, and King Syze. This joint is tough as is the whole project, so if you haven’t picked that up, make sure you support and play to your heart’s content.
Single You Out: Rigs – Valerian Root (ft. Mooch)
Da Cloth!!!! Rigs and Mooch are taking over again with chemistry and penmanship. Rocking over a production from RDJR that has kind of lullaby feel to it which is an irony when considering how venomous these bars are. I hope for a Rigs album soon, and while we are at it…how about another Mooch & Rigs collaboration album? Doesn’t hurt to ask and put it out there in the universe.
Single You Out: Godz Chyld – Poison (ft. Rigs)
I know this is something a lot of you are not up on. But probably once every couple of years I get wind of a new Godz Chyld EP, and everything he does is memorable. This could easily fly under the radar but I am not going to let it…too dope. His new EP, Poison, is short but choked full of all the things we love. Something you should run to cop after hearing this title track featuring Da Cloth’s Rigs.
