Dueling Experts (Verbal Kent and Recognize Ali) are back for another round of dopeness with the impending release of their sophomore project, DE2: Sand The Floor. These artists sound really good together with commanding voices and flows. Very complimentary skill sets. And this beat by Lord Beatjitzu is incredibly strong and anchors the duo well.
Make sure you check the album when it drops on December 11th.
Damn. This joint is tough from Wes Nihil and Pacewon! Bersurke on the beat and he formulates a heater for these two emcees to exchange their sixteens over. I love the various instrumentation he is using here. Nihil and Pacewon dispense with the weaker and less talented emcees.
This cut is to be featured on Wes Nihil’s forthcoming project, The Wes Side Story which will entirely be produced by Bersurke. Check for that come December.
Pawz One has been a consistently dope emcee over the course of the last several years. He has dropped numerous projects and all of them are high quality. Here he drops a video single, It’s Been A Pleasure, from his most recently released project, Dance On My Grave. This is him dropping his blood, sweat, tears, and talent over a soulful production from Science.
New video up from Rome Streetz’s latest project, Noise Kandy 4. There’s few emcees out there as polished as Streetz and here you get him rocking over some production from the under-heralded Wavy Da Ghawd. Surely you can recognize the illness!
King Magnetic released a slew of singles over the course of the last couple of months, and now we get to see all of them assembled in the album produced by Tone Spliff.
Nobody’s Safe is the title track for the album, and is vintage Magnetic. as he is a bar bully when it comes to the wordplay and does so over some Tone Spliff production that will easily cause the head nod effect. Definitely check the latest from this pairing!
Ill Bill gives us a scary musical selection with the release of his video, Be Afraid! featuring emcees Conway and Pharoahe Monch. These eclectic spitters each nail an ill sixteen into the proverbial coffin. The video is on some psychedelic, 50’s cartoon feel which gives the track a ‘fun’ feel if you will.

I’ve talked about Illogic’s uniqueness here before. He has that poetic and thought provoking quality that feels like he is illuminating something grand every time he is making music. This is a thinking man’s music, so stay in ear shot!

Darkim Be Allah has been making hip hop music for a while but very sporadically so it’s great to hear that he has a complete album with Endemic Emerald coming out on November 6th! This track has that jazzy and smooth vibe to it which seems to suit Darkim Be Allah and guest emcee Planet Asia perfectly.
This track is incredibly fresh! You have the combination of Wildelux and Propo’88 making some dope we can get in with as the Certified Craftsmen. And, Hey!, definitely has that well crafted sound about it. I love the depth and layers in the production with cascading sounds and concise scratching. Wildelux also has an authority about his flow that is concise and sharp over this track.
They have a new project coming out and I am excited to hear a complete project from the two.
New joint from Mayhem of EMS comes from his just recently released album with The SOULution, Singleton With A Pen. This track, To Me, has a soulful vibe, and lyrically it showcases diversity yet equal doses of talent with Weapon E.S.P. and Vic Monroe joining Mayhem on the mic.
