UFO Fev rested all of 15 minutes before he’s back at it and continuing on that tear of dropping heat in large amounts. This time we have the video single, Crack Shifts, off of the collaborative project with producer Vanderslice, Enigma Of Dali. We also have the equally dope and prolific, Flee Lord on the track. So with the combination of all three artists you knew this one was going to knock heavy!
Single You Out: Chuck N Lock – Flying Dutchman
More Chuck N Lock, you sa y? Yes please! The duo is back with some poetic introspectiveness over some horns from producer, Ecto 84. The beat really allows you to be entranced by the lyricism and pick up on all the metaphorical nuances. Chuck N Lock have a way of phrasing things that make listeners have “aha” moments. They are crafty lyriciststs. For instance…
“I realize I want a lot in life, and not my lot in life”
“I want to be a book worm, not a larva in a kindle.”
Single You Out: Jay Royale – The Alleged (ft. Willie The Kid)

A dope track from Jay Royale produced by Stu Bangas and featuring Willie The Kid. This joint has everything with that knocking production and scratching from Bangas, the ultra smooth refined flow of Willie The Kid, and the hard hitting rhymes from Royale. This is a major win for listeners.
Premrock – Death On The Installment Plan (Video)
Premrock is a damn poet. As I have followed his career through this blog it has become apparent across time that his skills and style compare to no one, making him one of the most unique features on the site. His wordplay and his lyrics flow and fall together just differently than his contemporaries. And you are bound to catch something different with each listen.
His new album, Load Bearing Crows Feet, drops tomorrow.
Ruste Juxx & DJ Views – Reign Supreme (Video)
Damn this DJ Views track sounds so nice! I love this violin sample he is working with and Ruste Juxx sounds razor sharp on this track. I am a big fan of Juxx and pretty sure I own his entire discography but this track is up there with his best.
I hope this is part of a bigger project either from Views or Juxx. It sounds too good to be a one off.
Nutso – Head Shot (Video)
It’s been a minute since I have heard Nutso deliver a joint like this. THIS is the kind of banger this artist was known for and I love to hear him rocking the mic this relentless. Wow. You can hear his tenacity. He’s coming for heads…and what I love is that he also produced this joint. He created a legit neck snapper here with the keys, drums, and that chorus.
I can’t wait to see how he builds off of this. Hip hop needs Nutso.
John Jigg$ x BP – Intro (Video)
You know when you give your Intro the video treatment, it’s got to be pretty fire. And this one is exactly that. John Jigg$ and BP have a neck snapping intro to their collaborative project, The Madness. I remember listening to this and thinking: “This is the damn intro?!” It’s more than just a precursur to how dope the EP is. One of the best this year, if not THE best. I love what BP does with the production and that vocal sample and Jigg$ just keeps grinding “like an engine that’s needing oil”. And no, this talent can’t be ignored when it keeps showing up time and time again with every release.
Check it out!
Ty Farris – Prayer For My Competition (Video)
Ty Farris is one of my favorite emcees. If I see his name attached to something, I don’t even need to hear it before I purchase. It’s an auto-cop. And this track produced by Thelonious Martin is one of the best I have heard from him and that’s saying alot. I love the production here, as Martin literally laces Farris a beat that sounds like a prayer. And Farris’ bars are unparralelled…
Underground superman I took the lowest (Lois) lane….
Dude is just so ill. His first sixteen on this song is one of the best verses of the year.
The new project, Ramen Noodle Nights, drops on June 8th.
Rome Streetz x Ankhlejohn – Vyrus Life (Video)
Rome Streetz and Ankhlejohn released a collaborative project that took me by surprise, Genesis 1:27, just dropped a few days ago and it’s HIGH on the list to check out in it’s entirety. This is an interesting pairing here. Rome Streetz has got a very polished way of emceeing and Ankhlejohn has a more grimy appeal and a raspiness that sets himself apart. But over this production from Rare Scrilla…that pairing just works. Dope music.
