LoDeck and Boxguts link up under the pseudonym, Freestyle Cologne. And they just released a project entitled, L’eau de Guts. This was a single that popped up in my inbox, and Lay Still, while short, packs a nice punch. The Golden Godz laced a heater with a distinct, but not overbearing sound, making me want to hear more of the album.
Single You Out: Snotty – 99 Acura (ft. Mickey Diamond)
This is my favorite track off of Snotty’s recently released, and Don Carrera produced, Other Side Of The Wall. Mickey Diamond joins him on 99 Acura, and these voices and flows slice through the piano riff and production. There is beauty in simplicty and these guys make less-is-more sound glorious.
I am going to be checking hard for Snotty’s material. I backtracked a little bit to check out some of his older material, and he’s got a nice flow.
Single Yout Out: Tones x DJ Matty Lite – You’re Welcome
Tones and DJ Matty Lite let loose a free track which I am going to go ahead and say is an extension of their latest EP, Sacred. And someone seems to be bearing the brunt of these bars from our emcee. These are some tough shots over some sinister production, And then you got Tone Spliff executing these scratches, making this song the complete deal.
Q-Unique – Broken Man (Video)
Q-Unique is back with a brand new video and song. He gets personal and introspective over a piano driven track that delves into the capacity of what a man can take in his life. Dope track. Dope hook. I always feel the intensity of emotion from Q-Unique.
Lord Juco & Finn – Skeleton Key (ft. Daniel Son) (Video)
Lord Juco teams up with Daniel Son to rock over some mellow, yet jazzy production from FInn. Just all around dope flows and music.
Juco and Finn have a bigger project in the works so stay tuned for that.

Yep….new Starvin B’ is on deck and this man is a beast on the microphone! He spits fire over this thriller from Vic Grimes, differentiating himself quite easilty from the competition.

Rome Streetz x Futurewave – Bible or the Rifle (Video)
Rome Streetz and Futurewave link up for another album that I am anxious ot hear in the Razor’s Edge. Physicals went available to purchase yesterday, and next week streaming begins. I may just have to cop a CD to get the digi. I don’t think i can wait a week to listen.
Rome Streetz has an elite flow and Futurewave has composed some of the illest records of the last, let’s say, three years. This particular cut delves into the choices that are made on the street. Do you keep it on the stright and narrow, or do you make moves to make money?

Skanks the Rap Martyr – Burn it Down (ft. U.G.) (Video)
Skanks unleashes some block brutality with the help of U.G. for his new single, Burn It Down. When you listen to The Rap Martyr get on a tear, it becomes quite apparent that you don’t want to be in the way of this man’s path. He will shame you out of existence with these bars. And this production is nice, not sure who is behind it, but the vocal sample rounds it all together nicely.

Craig G – Let Me Down (Video)
Craig G dives into his experiences in the hip hop music scene and the music industry in general. He also relects on how music was made in past years, and what’s happened to it in these days and times. It’s a track that’s a soulful memorandum and brief insight into how our emcee feels the game has evolved and how he in turn has been treated by it.
And as always, the legend delivers…this time over a production from DJ VR.
GeneralBackPain & Flu – Zebu’s Theme (Video)
GeneralBackPain and Flu link up for a new song from a new project, Bovine Too. You get the emcees unmistakable voice and flow, with one hip hop’s best producers lacing a dark, stalking rhythm.
In all honesty, it took me a while to get into GeneralBackPain’s flow, but I have really come to appreciate his unique styling, in the same way I appreciate say, KA’s. He’s a superb rhyme writer and can’t wait to hear the new project.
