I am always down for some new music from Chaundon. It’s been a minute. He brings a few guests for this heater. Two of them, Cymarshall Law and M-Dot have been mentioned a couple of times already on HHD. I think you will like this joint…a little verbal murder going on here.
One Be Lo – The ANT (i matter) (VIDEO)
This is the second video off of One Be Lo’s latest album, LABOR. I will sound like a broken record if I keep on repeating the praises on One Be Lo. The music speaks for itself.
Cold Men Young: Time Bomb (Video)
I featured the single a couple of months ago. I thought it was dope then and I still am quite fond of it. Cold Men Young is avery talented crew out of Michigan and someone you all should be checking for.
Single You Out: Memphis Reigns – Stephen Jawbs ft. Cecile Basila
New single from HHD favorite, Memphis Reigns, entitled Stephen Jawbs. It’s a short but dope track that is intended to be used for an upcoming PBS documentary entitled, Rise and Shine. The topic of the documentary will be the state of affairs in the public school system. The production on the track is done by, Trauma. As always, Memphis gives you insight through lyricism.

Single You Out: Kyle Hubbard – It’s Making Sense b/w Don’t Ask
It’s Kyle Hubbard ! It’s been a few minutes since we have heard some new music from the Houston lyricist but you know what? If he drops heat like this on his new album, it is all worth the wait. I am partial to the first track, It’s Making Sense. It gets no deeper. Hubbard has a way of bringing thought provoking music to the table. Hard to define the style but he definitely had me thinking on this track. Enjoy and get ready for his new album dropping next year.
Hasan Salaam – .1911 (Video)
Hasan Salaam is a dope artist as we have already showcased here on this site but more than that he is touching lives by engaging with youth in impoverished areas of the world. The proceeds of his forthcoming project, Music Is My Weapon will go to set up schools and develop clean water in Guinea-Bissau. I am going to cop it for sure.
On an artistic note, this is a very entertaining video that I am sure you will enjoy. If you want to make an early donation towards the initiative you can visit http://www.indiegogo.com/ittakesavillage.
Music still has power!
Single You Out: Sutter Kain – Where I Belong
I am going to have to go back and check this man’s back catalog because the production on this joint is definitely on point as are the lyrical content. I have seen a lot of blog posts about this man over the years and for one reason or another, I just passed on him. That is until I saw his and Darko’s collaborative effort, Emotional Disorder. There are some real dope joints on that album. If you are feeling this joint as I am, stay up on this man and his music.

Single You Out: El Da Sensei – Everyday In The Street (ft. Rah Digga and Tame One) (prod. by !llmind)
I really enjoy where !llmind took this beat. It was very creative to use that chopped vocal sample as the basis for the remix. The Nu World Remix EP drops next week. Definitely check for that. Meanwhile…
Single You Out: Koncept – Watch The Sky Fall (ft. Royce Da 5’9″)
Koncept does not let up. He has been relentless the last two weeks. He’s dropped three singles and two videos making it hard for me to choose what cut I am feeling hte most. They are all so very good. This one does have the advantages of having Marco Polo on the beat and Nickel Nine on a guest verse. You just can’t go wrong there. December 13th is when his solo project, Awaken, drops. Plug that into your cell phone and save the date…
I am sending you over to DJ Booth to rate and potentially purchase the single on Itunes…

Nutso – Galaxy Of Queens (ft. Capone-N-Noreaga, Royal Flush & Tragedy Khadafi) (Video)
Nutso constantly reps Queens in one way or the other. This time he brings in some legendary names for this track. We have Tragedy Khadafi on the hook and verse from CNN and Royal Flush. If this track can’t get you up and moving, then I question if you have a pulse at all.
