New Ruste Juxx material from his collaborative album with French producer Kyo Itachi. I like what I hear so far. Kyo Itachi’s production is different than what you usually hear Ruste Juxx spit on. The laid back guitar sample gives this a more laid back vibe. The new album, Hard Bodie Hip Hop, is out now in France and hope to see it available in the US soon.
Locksmith – Take Me Away (ft. Fallon) (Video)
Locksmith is a very busy man. He has released a ton of music and videos in the last three months. Take Me Away is an introspective track where he provides his audience some insight into how he grew up and where he is now as a a hip hop artist. His album Labyrinth is coming out this year so be sure to check for that.
Single You Out: PremRock and Willie Green – Radio Dial Remix (ft. Has Lo)
Here is the first single off of PremRock and Willie Green’s remix album entitled PremRock & Willie Green: Reassembled. The original album made my Top 10 Albums Of 2011 list and I am thinking the ‘rearranged’ version of the album has the same potential. The remix here is done by Blockhead. This sounds a little more upbeat than the original version. I could almost tell this was a Blockhead production without seeing the credits. I really like this version. It’s a fun joint. The remix album drops March12th.
Single You Out: Don Streat – Rapper Shot Remix (ft. Termanology and Lil Fame)
Don Streat bringing out that B’More fiya. He brought a few cohorts on this one with the beat laced by none other than !llmind and cutz by DJ Grazzhoppa. This one should knock in your system for more than just a few days.

6. she’s got beauty
Note:
I am an anti-Valentine’s day guy. I know, what a downer. But I don’t need to use one day in particular to treat my lady right, you heard? Well, with that being said, B’more artist, UllNevaNo, shot this EP over to me on Valentine’s Day and it just sat in my hard drive for a while. I’m just not fond of the Valentine’s Day musical motif. I finally got around to listening to it, and it wasn’t the typical fluff that you usually get in the inbox on February 14th. I should have trusted that UllNevaNo wasn’t going to send us some of the same ol’, same ol’. So because I am a jaded asshole, you all are hearing about this dope release weeks late…sorry.
Single You Out: Sutter Kain – Traitor (ft. Naymez & Darko)
Really becoming a fan of Sutter Kain and Never So Deep Records. His production is some of the best I have heard. He’s on par with some of the more recognized names in the game right now. Check out how he utilizes that “traitor” vocal sample. The emcees all go hard on the track. Can’t go wrong here.

The AbSoulJah – In My Element (Video)
The AbSoulJah is a personal favorite of mine. I have been listening to his music for about four years and I am excited to hear his new album dropping in a couple of weeks, Dim The Light. This artist just has all the intangibles to be successful. God just gifts whom he pleases type ish…don’t be hurt you didn’t get blessed.
Pep Love – Hip Hop My Friend (Video)
Pep Love with some new heat off of his forthcoming album, Rigamarole. That is dropping on March 6th I believe. This track sounds good. Really good. Pep Love’s flow on this track is really impressive. I dug it from beginning to end. The video also is pretty fresh. I like how he incorporated different aspects of hip hop visually.
Single You Out: Fatal Lucciauno – Black Hoody Rap (ft. Spac3man)
I’m working on finding out who produced this track right here. This beat is the sureshot! I love way this guitar sample is flipped. Fatal Lucciauno drops some heat here. The whole album, Respect, dropped today. I have given it one listen, and while this is my favorite track of the bunch, the whole album is really solid. You should definitely check it out.
