There’s a new collective that’s putting out some dope music and it seems spearheaded by Fokis and Stryfe. I just posted their last single, Pay What You Owe, a couple of days ago and this joint really just picks up where that one left off. The track has excellent production and some really slick flows. Enjoy…
Single You Out: PremRock and Talpas – Love of the Drum
You should know by now that PremRock can rock a mic and this cut goes the extra mile. I love the production. The drum pattern, the sample,…it all works really nice for my part.
Big Shug – Think Twice (ft. Av’rex, Singapore Kane, Krumb Snatcha & M-Dot) (Video)
All the emcees shine on this track but again, M-Dot’s (I am bias for sure) verse really stands out. It’s just more evidence of why this man was Artist Of The Year. Blaaaam!
Sean Born – Lights On (Video)
Sean Born’s album, Behind The Scale, is just plain nice. The man has a smooth flow backed by some excellent production. If you like this video make sure you cop the album by heading over to iTunes.
Chuuwee – Glorious Revolution (Video)
I don’t know why I hadn’t been feeling Chuuwee previously. Maybe I wasn’t giving him a fair shot. I will have to revisit his material. This song is nice. I also like how he is incorporated into this movie. Cool. His mixtape, Crown Me King is dropping today.
Single You Out: Big Bro (DJ Action Jackson Remix) b/w Amazing (BeanOne Remix)
The man is on a solid run right now so why not remix to tracks from his album, Respect? I probably prefer the OG version of Big Bro by Kuddie Fresh but it’s still nice to hear DJ Action Jackson’s rendition. BeanOne is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. I like his work. Listen for yourself.
Rome Cee – Something Beyond Part 2 (ft. Matth & Ill Conscious) (Video)
Some visuals from the highly acclaimed album from Rome Cee, The Grey Area. I listened to a lot of hip hop today, but when I saw this video I was reminded of how good of an emcee Rome Cee is. He and his associates just have mic charisma and that just can’t be taught.
Single You Out: Eyerone – Debt (Prod. by Lowkey)
I love the beat, the lyricism, and the content. I love it all. It really caught me off guard with how good it was since I have never heard of Eyerone. However if you like this song, apparently this artist has a an album dropping on May 8th entitled, InVitro. You might want to check it out.
BRKF$T CLUB – The Fellowship (Video)
This video from the BRKF$T CLUB dropped a week ago. I just now got the opportunity to check it out. The music is dope as is the cipher motif of the video, although it looks like it was filmed in the house of a hoarder. Haha.
Single You Out: Red Eye – Til I Owe Nada b/w Drawn-N-Quartered
Red Eye’s album, St. Fatrick’s Day drops tomorrow and I think you should all be hyped up on this project. It’s going to be dope. I have heard three tracks from the album and each of them are excellent. Here are two more singles from the project for you to listen to.
