#Work is dropping next Tuesday and this is prolly going to be the last single Al-One drops before the release. It’s more on the smooth tip and Al-One does the Trox produced track appropriate justice.
Single You Out: Norman Ba$e – Biggie Smallz
I have this very general rule that I try not violate but every so often you hear something special and you have to make an exception. The rule on HHD is ‘no rapping on instrumentals’ to get posted. I generally want to hear some original production. But Norman Ba$e sent me a link to his SoundCloud page and I heard this track with him rhyming over N.O.R.E.’s Blood Money. He has a very authentic and gritty sound that I wanted to share and spotlight…so without further ado…Norman Ba$e
Single You Out: Miami Beat Wave – Succeed ft. ArtOfficial, Locos Por Juana, Omniscient & DaVincci

I’ve always enjoyed Miami Beat Wave production. They make really addictive rhythms and great songs. This is just another addition to the collection. Apparently they have a compilation dropping that this cut will be on…enjoy!
Single You Out: Don Streat – Vietnam Kids b/w Devils Workshop
Don Streat isn’t just content with that Animal Pak Banger, he’s crafted two more joints for the people to ride to. The first features Kool G Rap and the second features Dirt Platoon. He really is making a name for himself with the consistent string of dope releases. I can’t wait to hear his album. These songs are beyond tough.
2UGLi ft Bloody Monk Consortium – Left Handed Violinists (Video)
New video from the homie, 2Ugli and his affiliates the Bloody Monk Consortium. Snowgoons lacing the production. It’s just a tough joint with some fire bars and symphonic beats. New album from the collaborators drops on July 28th entitled Immunological Disorder.
Illogic and Blockhead – Preparing For Capture (2012)
Album: Preparing For Capture
Tracklisting:
1. Matter Of Minutes
2. Poster boy
3. Nails (ft. Rob Sonic)
4. Ego’s Orbit
5. Weigh You Down
6. Caffeine Budge
7. Herstory
Note:
Illogic is a veteran emcee known for expanding on the known bounds of hip hop. On one hand he is a solid emcee who can spit with the best of them and easily move in and out of different constructs and sub-genres. On the other hand, he is a classic poet. He utilizes poetic structure and devices, such as assonance and alliteration heavily in his rhymes. He is intellectual and conjures vivid imagery with his wordplay. He also takes normal, everyday emotions and transcends them into a flurry of words and vice versa. He is truly a one of a kind artist.

Single You Out: Trace Blam – Take It Back (ft. Big Remo)
This is a well produced joint by Tom Delay that Trace Blam and Big Remo annihilate proper. This track is coming off of Blam’s yet to be released, Karate EP.
Red Eye – Fuc B’n Polite (Video)
Red Eye back at it again with some visuals from his St. Fatrick’s Day mixtape. If you haven’t copped that yet, get on it! The whole joint is a monster.
