This joint hails from the upcoming mixtape of the Swiss production team, Soulslicers. The group brings in the horns for this joint while Skeezo and Kaymerda bring some tough lyrics to the microphone.
Single You Out: Bekay – 15 Months Of Violins
Bekay has had enough! All the crazy thoughts going on in his head and the frustration of the last few months stored up, he goes for delf on his latest single. The song is edgy with no hook. Bekay just releases angst in the freshest way possible.
Enjoy…
Brown Bag AllStars – 406 (Fat Beats Tribute) (Video)
The guys pull on the heart strings of record collectors and music lovers everywhere with their dedication to Fat Beats NY, a pace where they combined talents and emerged as the artists they are today. The Audible Doctor fixes up a wonderful production which is pretty typical for him.
The team’s new EP, Brown Label Part 2, drops next Tuesday, on September 4th.
Single You Out: Eff Yoo – RL Hunting Club (ft. Shaz Illyork and Starker)
The Legend Of The Gnome Sword needs to drop already! This is the third single we have featured and it too is very dope. It features one of the dopest artists out right now, Shaz Illyork. The production is low key but demonstrative enough so that the emcees all spit some heavy bars.
This is just the New York gritty we all need…

Single You Out: The Red Giants – Time 2 Roll
I still bump the last The Red Giants’ album, Chain Reaction. And this song proves to be a continuation of their past work. Jermiside is an extremely talented emcee with a quick delivery and concise wordplay that is always enjoyable. Brickbeats really shows out on the production though. He provides a bluesy hip hop vibe and switches up the beat periodically to keep the listener attentive.
The duo’s next project Supercharged will hopefully be hear soon…
Trife and Centric – Oh Lord (Video)
You need some music to get you over the hump this week? I got ya. Here’s an anthem that will get the blood pumping. The beat and the emcees go high energy. Centric and Trife have a winner right here. It’s not too complex, but it doesn’t need to be when you have a head nodding beat and some charisma on the mic device. Dope…
Tristate – Crown The King (Official Music Video)
I fell asleep at the wheel when his project, 14 Karat Canvas dropped a couple of months, and didn’t realize what I was missing out on until he dropped this video. Tristate drives a hard bargain with this flow and with OhNo on the boards you can clearly not go wrong.
I peeped the EP and it’s all very solid. Make sure you check it!
Ras Kass – Sushi (Video)
Man, when Ras Kass is on his A-Game, none can test. His bars are razor sharp on this track giving credence to the claim that his new project, P.U.M.A. may be some of his best work to date. I have always been a fan. He’s a Top 5 emcee as far as I am concerned .
Aside from his bars, this beat is blazing hot and the concept for the video is on point. I like the role reversal and the play on Menace II Society. Certainly one of the best videos I have scene this year.
Half Past Never Band – Winds Of Autumn feat. Ekow (Music Video)
Here’s some dope Film Noir from the Half Past Never Band. They are a live band from Helsinki, Finland who are capable of creating incredible soundscapes. Indulge yourself in the story line and good music.
