Top $ Raz release a video from their album, Reign On The Parade. I love the music and the lyricism. This video…is interesting. It reminded me of a hip hop rendition of the movie Point Break (without the surfing)
Single You Out: Kojo – Fuck Swagg (prod. by illMEASDURED)
illMEASURED’s Friday Feature may be over but that doesn’t stop him from sending over some new hotness for us to listen to. Kojo brings some tough lines and a gruff delivery while our producer friend provides hard-hittin’ rhythms. Both the verbals and the beats give a good riddance to those still talking about their swagger…Old Spice sissy boys…
You can pick up Kojo’s new mix tape Mr. Annapolis 2
Relic – Work Of Heart (Official Video)
I was just put on to this artist in the Greater North and even though Work Of Heart was released in July, I wanted to share it with our audience now. Relic has a great flow, with intelligent lyricism, and has an ear for great beats (as he is his own producer). His new album, Miles To Go is out now so make sure you check that out if you like this cut. I will be doing so myself.
Single You Out: The Red Giants (Jermiside & Brickbeats) – Time 2 Roll
Jermiside is slept on…that is all. Well, ok there’s more to it that just that, and while the aforementioned is undoubtedly true this track is not only about his dope rhyme schemes and play on words. It’s about Brickbeats soulful/bluesy/hiphop blend that pushes this music front and center.
This is the second single from their forthcoming project, Supercharged.
Single You Out: Thesis – My Symphony
This is one of those tracks that’s not really a single from the artist but I wanted to get his music out there. I am not up to doing reviews right now with my wife on the mend from a serious medical issue, but Thesis’ music needs to be mentioned. I am running through his album, All Mixed Up, and it’s some serious good. My Symphony is the track that stood out the most initially, though any number of the songs on this album will show out.
Radamiz – CHARLIEchaplin (Video)
I am digging this track from Radamiz. My first exposure to his music is a good one. There’s a lot sprinkled into a relatively short track. It’s social, political, soulful, poetic, and head nodding. I am definitely going to check for this artist as should you.
This track is off of his album, The Longer Way Home, which dropped earlier this year.
Friday Feature: Just FLoW – Just Cuz (Just FLoW x MiTCH RiCH)
This month’s featured artist is someone that I’ve been building with for over a year now and who’s really been developing and honing his craft rhyme after rhyme. Just FLoW just keeps getting better with every listen, and if any man deserves to be featured on HHD, it’s him. This man’s talent may only be dwarfed by his work ethic. Not only is he an accomplished emcee but he also is very apt to do his own videography and is involved in almost every aspect of his craft.
So without further ado, I bring you his group’s (AMN, at least 2/3) latest joint, Just Cuz, which is performed with AMN affiliate MiTCH RiCH, and producer The Mechanics: (See Below For Further Artist Information)
Just FLoW: Born In Nigeria, Raised In Queens New York and Currently Residing In Baltimore MD. Specializing In Witty Punchlines And Slick Metaphors, His Most Admirable Trait Would Be His Penchant For Realism. Just FLoW Is Currently Finishing Up His Second Solo Outing “GRoW”. He Is Also A Member Of Hip Hop Trio Any Means Necessary. Twitter: @JustFLoWing
MiTCH RiCH: Flashy But Humble Brooklyn Bred Rapper MiTCH RiCH Is The True Definition Of A Paradox. Raised In Farragut Projects, MiTCH Is Currently Working On His Debut Project “Straight From The Gut”. He Is Also A Member Of Rap Trio Any Means Necessary. Twitter: @I_Am_MitchRich
Producer “The Mechanics”: Brooklyn Based. Producer Writer And Audio Engineer. Twitter: @DRailDaFlyyest
L*Roneous – The Unusual (Video & Mike Dream Dedication)
L*Roneous brings us the video for one of the dopest tracks that I discussed on the Lgorithms review. This song is a powerful dedication to his friend and artist Mike Dreams.
Any time L*Roneous touches the mic it can be considered special, but may be a little more so on this joint.
Single You Out: Rome Clientel – One Life To Live (ft. REKS)
This latest single from Rome Clientel featuring REKS is indefinitely some of his best music to date. I love the 70s sould sample that ATG flips from Flaming Ember. That alone gives this song so much character and Clientel and REKS’ verses really play well off of each other.
This song is lifted from the forthcoming EP from Rome Clientel entitled, The Empire 2: The Battlegrounds.

Single You Out: Rav.P & Swerve – Have(nots) (prod. Soulful)
In the freshest way possible, Swerve and Rav.P remind us that we should lend a helping hand when possible. The beat by Soulful is just that…soulful and very smooth. This is music you can truly sink your teeth into. The dup are putting a collaborative EP out later this year so make sure you watch out for that.
