I just got done listening to Dumbfounded’s new album, Take The Stares, yesterday. He’s got a really unique approach to making hip hop. He adds a lot of humour to his songs and this video proves to be equally unique and amusing, not to mention it must have been fun to do!

Note:
This review has been in the chamber for a while as Vice City Nights was released just over a month ago. The project is collaborative in nature with Emilio Lopez holding down the duties on the mic while Barcelona based production duo, RJBeats controls the boards. I have really enjoyed hearing the numerous amounts of EPs this year that focus on using one producer with one emcee to give the projects some consistency without getting stale. Vice City Nights follows that template to a tea.

Emilio Lopez & RJBeats – Escúchela Ft. Rapsusklei
I had know idea this video was dropping until last night. It turned out to be perfect timing as I am, in a few moments, posting my review for this project. Escuchela is my favorite track from the Vice City Nights EP. Those beats and those bars make this track too nice not to share with a friend or five. Emilio Lopez really has upped the ante with his projects in 2012. Jump on board now so you can avoid the “I-Told-You-Sos” later.
Wordsworth – Mirror Mirror (Video)
This jam comes off of Wordsworth’s latest project, The Photo Album. It’s that soulful boom bap that you need this Tuesday.
“…an optometrist couldn’t look himself in the eye…” C’mon you know that line is nice….
Single You Out: 7evenThirty- Twenty Twelve (Apollo Brown Remix)
Is this how 7evenThirty’s new album sounds? Why did I sleep? Why have I not copped this? I have only myself to blame because this song sounds ever so good. If you feel this, you can pick up Heaven’s Computer at a great price!
Kyle Hubbard – Fly Or Die (Video)
You can’t walk away from listening to a Kyle Hubbard cut without thinking: “Wow. That guy has some skills!” These videos just validate what HHD fam already knows. Hubbard is one of the illest doing it, not only out of H-Town, but period. Shout out to all the artists who can connect with their audience on this level!
You can cop his latest album, You’re Not That Special for free on Mediafire or Audiomack. You can also check our review HERE!
Single You Out: Tha Soloist – Unique Design
New banger from Tha Soloist and beatsmith, Klive Kraven. You can’t deny the talent, intensity, and love for hip hop. These are the joints that I appreciate to find in my inbox.
Ill Conscious – The Pledge (ft. Cyn Hawkes)
God bless Ill Conscious and Cyn Hawkes for this joint. This is hip hop for the heart, body, and soul. Powerful messages abound on this joint. Please support by sharing this post around.
This track is one of the lead singles from Ill Conscious forthcoming album, The Essence.
Sparkingtin – Coolin’ Out (ft. Stone S.C 430 & Attica Barz)
HHD favorite, Sparkingtin, has a new video up and out. Bringing you that raw delivery on the smoothed out tip. The man is constantly putting out quality music. Keep checking for his brand…
Single You Out: The Narcicyst – Blame The Label
Even on my worst days (as many of these days in the past week have been) I still find some solace in the verses spoken by The Narcicyst. I love the harmonious chorus all the way down witty verse from Narcy. The track by Sandhill is satisfactorily down tempo and musically entertaining, but keeping the focus on The Narcicyst.
His new EP Leap Of Faith Action Project drops on October 22nd.
