Ill Bill reminiscences, and waxes poetic about the death, the afterlife, and the ones he loves. When someone like Ill Bill does a song like this, I think the emotion really connects the music to the listener. He normally drops tough verses but every once a while he puts out a song that leaves himself wide open. Dope material.

Everyone should have a friend like Dharmic X…dude is constantly putting me onto dope hip hop. This time he hits me off with this Swedish crew, Side Effectz. This song has a ’93 Til Infinity’ vibe to it. It’s very mellow and the emcees can flip it nicely.
Alot of good music coming from Sweden so don’t y’all be sleeping. This will be off the trio’s upcoming album, Wunderbaum Music.
Single You Out: Raiza Biza – Two Realms
Raiza Biza gives you both food for thought and music to vibe to with his latest cut, Two Realms. The production is almost a dreamscape. I have listened to a few cuts from this artist and every time I hear a song, it just transports me. If your day is bending the wrong way…a cut like this can straighten you out.

Single You Out: Rav.P & Swerve – No Lifeguard On Duty
There is a lot of irony to be had by me posting this cut on Thanksgiving. As Rav. P and Swerve ready there Weed & Wine EP. A lot off ebbs and flows of emotion put into this one, but in the end, just when you think you are going to give up, you think of a reason to move on. And that’s what I feel this song is about…progression in the face of adversity.

Single You Out: Soul Khan – Not Like That (ft. Akie Bermiss)
Soul Khan keeping it consistent by releasing this bonus track from the upcoming Psalm EP coming out December 11th on http://soulkhan.com. The track was originally slated to be on Wellstone but didn’t make it on that EP. This new project is going to be produced entirely by Abnormal. So be on the lookout for that. Meanwhile, this track continues to display the chemistry between Soul Khan and Akie Bermiss who consistently put out great songs.
The Masterminds – Invisible World (Video)
The Mastermind’s videofy (my own word) yet another track from their recent re-emergence, Giant Antlers. This video is probably the cream of the crop. I really like the concept to go along with the song. Highly inventive. I wish my copier at work did something this interesting.
